Good location with a possibility of finding parking which is not easy in Salou. Could improve on the cleanliness of the room and walls in the main areas. This is after a 4* after all. Air conditioning could also be improved to be more effective in the rooms. Smoking should not be allowed in the balconies as well as we couldn’t open the windows. But overall nice stay in Salou

I was very disappointed that there were no disabled parking spaces at the front of the hotel and that I was asked to pay for underground parking as soon as I registered at the reception. Many other hotels offer free parking for disabled guests and these are often located very close to the reception.

The room was as per pictures on the website, basic and dated but clean, the cleaners called every day and were very friendly. Air conditioning worked well in the room and the room was small but comfortable. Front desk staff not so approachable, breakfast included, very average, pool area was always overcrowded and uncomfortable. No towels provided for pool. Location was ok, 15 min walk to beach, 20 minute walk to water park.

Breakfast was nice & good options and no shortages. Property was nice. Pool was too cold to go in when we were there. No tennis and mini golf was not cleaned up or ready to use. Too windy for outdoor ping pong. We booked mainly for the activities but there were very little. The spa however was clean, warm and great to use. Could be free to guests. Cap purchase and wearing was tolerable. Massages too expensive at hotel also. Room cleaning can occasionally come quite early! No air con at the time we went and fridge useful but tempermental. No on site shop. Still on of the best as we looked at most before choosing this one.

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good sized outdoor pool . Gym well equipped The food however was lukewarm even though we were there at the opening time. Very disappointed as we have stopped there before in 2019 and food was exceptional.

Stayed here from 8th - 15th April. Hotel very clean with new towels and room cleaned every day. Pleased with the hotel food options, great selection of hot and cold fresh food. The main issue was the noise. We were one of only a few families staying at the hotel, with mainly groups of children on school trips throughout our stay. The noise at night was ridiculous with children shouting from their balconies, running up and down the corridors and playing music. We had to ask the people next door to stop shouting at 1am. Had to unplug the hotel room after receiving prank calls at 3am. It felt more like a youth hostel than a family hotel, certainly not what we were looking for. Spoke to a lady on reception about how hot the room was and we were told the air conditioning would be turned on in June, very rude and not helpful at all. Obviously we couldn’t have the balcony door open due to the noise... Feeling very disappointed as we had an amazing time in Salou. Will be back again next year but will certainly not be staying here! Unless you are 15 and on a school trip, stay somewhere else!

Our stay at 4R was good, the hotel was clean, modern and provided good facilities. The hotel was also highly efficient upon arrival and we were able to check in and go to our room 2 hours before the sheduelled check in time. Breakfast was good although the beans were always cold and member of the staff at breakfast was quite rude however this did not affect our stay. Information about the wifi around the hotel was lacking and therefore we were never connected throughout our stay.

Regina gran is too far away from the centre of Salou and the beach and I don't recommend it for couples. There are mainly families staying here in August with screaming, unsupervised children in the pool and restaurant. The Pool area is too small for all of the guests as are the toilets, which are disgusting. (Only two ladies toilets) Staff are really rude, on day three of our holiday we were turned away from the restaurant and told we were breakfast only. I disputed this with reception and tried to show them that we had booked half board, we were told to return the next morning and therefore couldnt eat there that evening! The next day we asked again and the lady on the desk said it was a mistake on the computer- no apology. There were many more examples of rude staff that we experienced too. It was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Choose somewhere else.
