Nice modern hotel in a good location in central Stockholm. Room was a little bit small, but fine for our two night stay.

My penthouse room offered the loveliest view of the rooftops at night. I was grateful that I could open the window fully in order to let the cold air in. I found the bedroom and bathroom to be just the right size, though I couldn't use the subscription services on the TV since they didn't work with my US subscriptions. Is there a way around that? Thankfully, even though there were only 4 TV channels available, at least 1 played English-speaking shows regularly. It was great being able to access music videos as well. The staff were always super helpful. Even though I was incorrectly told that housekeeping would only go into my room if requested, my concerns were immediately addressed after I went downstairs with my complaint. I was provided with a DND hanger for my room that wasn't initially provided upon arrival. I was happy to have the situation addressed so quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Despite not knowing about the hot food bar until my last full day, I was quite pleased with the selection of options available, particularly the gluten-free section. The hotel is also conveniently situated in the Ostermalm neighborhood, with plenty of access to cafes, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. I even walked over to the local cinema the night before I left. I definitely wasn't wanting for anything during my fairly long stay.

This hotel is situated between 2 metro stations, there are also bus services nearby. Lots of eateries, supermarkets, shops nearby. Alot of attractions are within walking distance, it was fun just strolling in the neighbourhood to soak in the vibes. The staffs were very friendly & eager to help. Breakfasts here are included and there are a wide variety of food available. We get to try the authentic Nordic style of breakfast, food was in abundance & delicious! Staffs here are very friendly & quick to clean up tables. They work consistently to fill up the food & drinks,. The room we stayed in was at the top floor, there wasn’t much view, but I like it that we could open the windows to let in fresh air. Just across the hotel are apartments, so we have to keep the shades closed for privacy, but it made the room very dark, causing inconvenience. The room, like most European hotels, is very dimly lit, making it really dark, especially early in the morning & at night. We had to use our phone lights to see the luggage locks number combinations! There’s a small piece of carpet on the wooden floor, but we found it slippery when we stepped on it the 1st day. It’s a very small room, so we don’t find it necessary to have that small carpet at all, safety is more important than aesthetic beauty! Downside of room, no fridge available. And the pillows are really lumpy! The plumbing is not really good, our shower room stinks after each use of the shower or washing basin.

I (and my brother) have stayed at Mornington for more than a decade a couple times a year and it has been fine with focus on location, pricing and decent standards. In my view the latter has now changed. The standard of the rooms and the breakfast is no longer competitive. The room (facing the street) was “worn” ( my bedside table fell off the wall just by putting a glass on top), there were no mirror in the room/hallway, the Windows’s are old and not very isolating meaning Friday/Saturday partying outside woke us up and the state of the bathroom, including terrible lighting, is now substandard. Breakfast was fine but very chaotic due to poor organisation. Looks like this property needs a full renovation and we will stay at other hotels on our regular visits to Stockholm.

It was an awesome place. Nothing like I have ever seen before. The breakfast was phenomenal..The decor so different. Staff amazing, centrally located. Rooms clean. I can think of no negative.

Conveniently near the train station

The rooms were smaller than expected. The bathroom bad a bad drain smell and the breakfast was very standard continental. Would have been better with more fresh fruits.

Always fun staying here when we come to town from our summer place in the skärgård. From the gracious welcome from the staff to the comfy room to the fabulous breakfast buffet, it’s always a super stay. (Not to mention the perfect location!)

Great place to stay for a quick visit. Gives one a real sense of being a Östermalm local.

Cozy and laidback hotel that feels like home. There is no room service, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The location is quiet yet central, which is another plus. Many good restaurants and shopping in the surrounding blocks, as well as pharmacies and food stores that are open late.

For some reason our trash beans were not cleaned every day.

The hotel is lovely, locationis wonderful, staff is very helpful. Downsides: The bread options at breakfast are poor, the knackebrod is stale. They serve octupus in the restaurant which is far from climate friendly or humane.
