Good localized breakfast

i am impressed with their excellent customer service frok booking the hotel, reserving cars, check-in and throughout myvstay. their staffs are always ready to help , convenient location to travel to Alishan the next day. special thanks to Kathy who has been so helpful.

They kept our 4 bikes safe for us while we visited Alishan. Thank you wonderful staff. The breakfast was fantastic and location 1 minute from the train station bridge perfect.

It conveniently located in 3 minutes walking distance of railway station, with its members welcoming concepts, it was quite a nice stay.

I had a good stay at the hotel. Staff was very nice.

The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. Strange bathroom where the bathroom door doubled as the shower door. It was okay for us as a couple; however, if you were with a friend you would need to coordinate your privacy. Breakfast was good and we were very happy to have it available. Note that we stayed one night and accidentally left behind an electrical adapter. when we return 2 days later, the adapter was already attached to the luggage that the hotel stored for us. We thought that was very efficient and kind of the staff to do. Thank You!

The check in was smoothly and easy. All staff was very friend and helpful.we asked them about the area they gave us clearly information about wherebto go shop and to eat.

It is customer oriented comfortable hotel. There is a laundry room which opened 24 h when I stayed. I arrived Chiayi around 10 pm, so I was so grad I could wash our clothes on the day. Room is nice and clean. Breakfirst was fabulous. They served several kinds of delicious foods including Taiwanese dishes. Besides, the hotel located only 5 minutes walk from Chiayi station. We highly recommended.

Location is good, people are friendly, decent breakfast, they have sandwiches takeaway boxes for guests who need to set off early. Room is in excellent condition, cleanliness at its finest. Comfortable bed!

Very comfortable accommodation. The beds were a bit too firm and the pillows a bit too soft. Otherwise they have all the amenities. Loved their breakfast buffet!

Nice and clean property and close to many dinning options.

Holiday Inn Express in Chiayi is maybe one of the worst hotel in the world when it comes to early check-ins! I have been at this hotel for 3 or 4 stints, the first time, it was a busy day following a long weekend, I get it, I never blamed them for it, but even then I was finally given a room like 15 minutes after 3pm, I set in the lounge for an hour to wait for the room. The second time, I am sure they were not full, it was a normal weekday, I got there in the morning, but still, you can only leave your luggages over there and check in after 3pm. I have travelled quite a bit, and I don’t know if this is a norm in Taiwan? At least I’ve never had that kind of resistance in many different hotels in Taipei and Taichung…. And certainly that is not how you treat people in pretty much the rest of the world. I’ve worked and travel quite a bit in North America, our company uses Holiday Inn Express, so I kind of have that loyalty, but not anymore for this particular Holiday Inn Experess in Chiayi!
