older hotel well maintained, excelletn quality matress & bedding, towel. Great location. A bit expensive during the holiday season though

The location was great, walking distance to many places and a lot of food nearby. Walking distance to MRT station and Taipei101 since my main purpose of the stay was to watch countdown fireworks. The staff were very friendly and profess, services are great and I enjoyed my stay so much. Would definitely come back again.

Great hotel and great stay.

One of the best things about Hotel Eclat that the rooms have ample storage space! There are drawers for several days of clothing, closet space for emptied luggages, and additional space with doors for souvenirs and other miscellaneous items. I like to put things away, not lying them out in the open; this hotel fulfills this aspect. The location is convenient, the area is safe. The decoration in the lobby is beautiful! Will stay there again for my future trips.

Our room was very comfortable. This is a great boutique hotel in Taipei. There was a desk, chair, refrigerator, a good amount of storage space built in to the wall unit. The bathroom was well apportioned with an automatic toilet and luxury shower equipped with 3 different spray heads. The location is a 5-10 minute walk to the Da’an metro station, and several bus lines have stops even closer. This makes it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The breakfast buffet was tasty with both ready available foods as well made to order egg dishes and coffee drinks. They also have a 5 o’clock happy hour. This is a great hotel for visiting Taipei.

This was a cute boutique hotel with excellent, spacious, & comfortable rooms & beautiful lobby & lounge. It lives up to its promise of a small luxury hotel. The folks at the reception (all of them all week) were extremely nice, helpful, & one of then has the biggest smile (which I appreciated seeing during this solo work trip). The breakfast & minibar was included for me (I think it is for all guests). I loved the breakfast especially local vegetarian & meat dumplings, however other international food items are also available. The room was very comfortable - excellent products in the bathroom. The room had a massager lounge chair which was perfect after a lot of walking in this beautiful city! The hotel is right between two metro stations of Daan & Xinyi. Nearby food/cafe spots I frequented include Tamed Fox coffee shop & Yang Ming Spring Restaurant (vegan). I would absolutely choose this hotel in a heartbeat!

The shower room can’t be closed completely so water keeps splashing to the floor.

Unique property. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and quite big with green view. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

Wifi didn’t work entire trip. Feedback and couldn’t rectify without giving clear reason. Inconvenient to go to lobby for work as what hotel staff suggested. Used my own roaming data throughout.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel location is amazing - a few minutes walk to several attractions, dining, and shopping.

Nice hotel - a little dated - the art in the lobby is fun. Felt a little expensive for what it was.

Great location and great staff

This boutique hotel has a unique style and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. I especially liked the lucite chair and the wood slat shower. The staff was gracious at check-in and check-out and greeting on every return. The area is pleasant and convenient and it’s easy to take transit or a taxi wherever you need to go. Oddly the ubiquitous convenience stores aren’t quite so close as it’s on a fancier street but no worries.
