My mom and I stayed at this resort in Jan of 2025! We absolutely loved it. From check in to check out the staff were friendly and helpful.
Food: breakfast buffet was amazing and worth signing up for. We didn’t sign up for it initially but was no problem to go down and charge it to your room. Amazing coffee and amazing breakfast food lay out
Pools were great, clean and lots of chairs to choose from. Multiple pools around the resort with swim up bars. The resort is directly in the beach so you are walkable distance to so many vendors and lunch/ dinner options. I’d recommend bread fusion that is on the strip. Amazing sandwhiches and smoothie bowls!
Rooms were hugeeeeee, amazing amenities like a gym and workout classes, and massive balconies to enjoy some quiet time. The resort also had a minimarket you can go and buy water and snacks at.
Overall would highly highly recommend this resort to stay at!!

- ADULTS ONLY POLICY: THE GUEST MUST BE 16 YRS OLD OR ABOVE. You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card or cash to cover deposits and incidentals. Special request may depend on hotel's availability at check-in and may cost extra fee. Special request availability is not guaranteed. Hotel may charge you additional fee for each extra person after reserved room's maximum capacity. - During 15 May-31 Oct 2020, our Beach Wing will be fully refurbished. All guest rooms on this wing (Deluxe Ground Terrace & Deluxe Rooms) will be closed on this period along with the Restaurant by the Sea, Pool Bar by the Sea and the 2 pools located in this area. - Grand Wing, where Grand Deluxe,Grand Deluxe Pool View and Junior Suite room types are located, will remain open across the season. The said wing boasts a garden with 2 pools, 1 pool bar,1 restaurant, 1 gym, a fitness studio and a lobby bar. Our 24-hours reception is also located in this wing. We are confident that the guests will enjoy their stay in this part of the hotel. -As you are aware, the resort has a clear divide in areas between the Beach and Grand Wing, and we will do our utmost to minimize any inconvenience and disturbance to guests who stay with us over this time. We appreciate very much in advance for your understanding.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. We are staying there 4 days and 3 nights eating almost the same thing not much choice compare to other resort we stayed. Need to improve more to attract more guess staying 2-3 nights.

Fantastic place to stay in Kamal area. Its very safe and relaxed here. Unfortunately the weather was pretty awful so we would venture out much. The room and facilities were excellent. Staff were extra helpful. The restaurant was great with many chouces and live music. Would love to come back in better weather!

The beach was very dirty with natural debris from the ocean and trash. We stayed at the resort pool which was very nice. The rooms are modest but clean. The food was good and the staff was so friendly.

Great spot in Kamala. A much more peaceful spot than Patong. The hotel is amazing, it's location has to be the best in Kamala., sitting right on the shore.
It's clean, and the staff are amazing. Everyone is so helpful and genuinely try to mar your stay extra special. There are more pricey hotels nearby that are probably more modernz, but their location has nothing on Sunprime. Also no screaming kids due to it being adults only. We met a couple who have been coming for 15 years every year. We will be back. Special mention for Lee in the pool bar and one of the guys in the breakfast room who's name unfortunately eludes me, but he was great. They also gave us an upgraded room and a bottle of champagne on arrival after discovering it was our honeymoon through prior conversation.

Sun Prime Kamala Beach hotel is extremely spread out, and one has to walk 10-15 mins from the hotel lobby to the beach. Unless you can reserve a room next to the beachfront, it is not worth staying at this hotel. Not all hotel guests are treated equally by service staff, whether at front office reception or at the breakfast area. Differential treatment provided by service staff for Western vs Non Western customers, even though we are all paying guests at this hotel. If you are Non White, local Thai or Asian, you may want to think twice before booking to stay at Sun Prime Kamala Beach. Buffet breakfast is fairly standard. Guest rooms are dated and infested with ants. Bed mattresses need to be replaced as they sink in the middle. There are many other better hotels to choose from in Phuket!

The Staff here are wonderful, all very friendly and most go out of their way to help you. Jinny on the front desk was fabulous. I had an issue with my room and she sorted it straight away. I would have liked to have heard more relaxing music by the pool though. Pool and Dinner menu was very average. Served to you in cardboard boxes. Should be more Thai choices.
