This villa is the worst place I have ever lived in, and I feel it is my duty to warn anyone considering renting it. First of all, the house has black mold, especially in the bathroom. This mold isn’t just an eyesore; it’s a serious health hazard, causing symptoms from constant coughing and headaches to eye and skin irritation, digestive issues, and even asthma. During my stay, I experienced all these symptoms. The condition of the house in general is alarming. Wide gaps under the doors allow snakes to enter freely, and I even found one in my bed — an entirely unacceptable and unsafe situation. The water quality is another major problem. The tap water is so contaminated with metals and salts that I bought a tester to prove how unfit it was for use. I installed filters at my own expense, changing them every two weeks, but the water quality remained poor. Frequent water outages only made the situation worse. The bathroom drainage is poorly maintained, leaving standing water after every shower. Despite repeated requests to address the issue, a staff member would show up with a plunger, spend five minutes “fixing” it, and leave without actually solving the problem. It’s also worth mentioning the neighboring rental property right over the fence. During the high season, it’s impossible to find peace here: constant noise and parties are guaranteed. Lastly, a word of caution to those planning a long-term stay. Anything that shows natural wear and tear will be deducted from your deposit, and they will charge you exorbitantly inflated prices to replace these items. The villa, which once cost 100,000 baht, is now priced at 120,000 baht per month. But ask yourself, is this place really worth your nerves, health, and money?
