I didn't like that I booked my family's vacation (there were 7 of us) at this resort only to learn that they were resurfacing the pool for more than half of our stay. The worst part is that I actually called before booking to make sure the waterpark would be available to us and was given a resounding "yes, of course it'll be open that week!". Lies. this miscommunication literally ruined my trip so truly bad job by the front desk girl there.
The managers were nice and listened to my grievances but it could not be undone that I spent thousands to travel to a waterpark resort only to be told the waterpark was closed for ROUTINE maintenance. Not a surprise resurfacing, they knew it was coming - and failed to mention it to me when I called the resort before booking. Super bummed as I was looking forward to splashing in the wave pool with my kids all week but instead paid more money to visit the aquarium and lego land and all these other expensive endeavors that I could have done in any city.

The kids pool and wave pool were closed while we were there which was unfortunate, kids were too small for the slides so they only had lazy river as an option. They had fun just felt over priced for what was available. Restaurants on site are insanely overpriced. They were also blasting all of their propane heaters all day long despite the temp being in the mid 70's. So wasteful.

Large property. Very clean. Liked the fire pits. Great amenities. Enjoyed water park for a couple of hours a day, but rotating features. Wished we had more time to use the athletic club and fitness center as it was really nice with a yoga platform overlooking a very nice view

Beautiful resort with a lot of amenities! We had one small issue where the hot water went down in our building but they promptly notified us and relocated us to a beautiful room in the golf course. Wonderful service and the waterpark is amazing. The rooms were SILENT!

The room furnishings are outdated and the furniture is shabby looking - faux wicker ?!
The floor was filthy- I don’t think it had seen a good cleaning in awhile. Hot tubs weren’t as hot as they should be. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend. The value for the money was missing.

This property’s only saving grace was the staff. They were always helpful and kind. The hotel is in a VERY unsafe area so leaving the property was hard. There are only 3 restaurants on property however and they are open to the public so they are CROWDED. The rooms are dated and we had plumbing issues our entire stay. The other issue is that when they have the “rotating water park features” they will let children wait in line and then close the slide for children standing in line, rather than cap the line, so numerous times our children would wait in line for the slides for 20-30 minutes, get to the top/front of the line and be told “sorry slide is closed for the next hour”. We would not stay here again, given there are numerous similar choices in the Phoenix area with better prices, especially after the “resort fee” they will hit you with at the end of your stay (oh and if you have more than four people in your room you will also have to pay $55 a day for water park access per extra person).

This was a nice trip. As you may read in other reviews the poolside and restaurants at hotel were exorbitant for the quality. Pool was clean and kids loved it.
