The Aspen Hotel was a great choice for a stay. The front desk staff was very nice and efficient at check in. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. We were on the back side of the hotel which offered a great view of a small lake and woods.

Clean, comfortable, laundry machines handy, perfect for an overnight. Nice reception staff.
(Management please note: coffee creamer is Nasty, and it would be so much better to provide shelf-stable cream in both guest rooms and lobby. Just a hint.)

The room had a weird layout, like it used to be a kitchenette or something. It had a tiny little desk, which made it virtually impossible to get any work on the laptop done, and who would want to with the cheap, uncomfortable little cafe' style chairs that were in there. Also, the front desk closes and is gated off at 11 pm.

The Aspen was comfortable and convenient. I choose it partly because of its proximity to the river boardwalk. I was also pleased there was a small fitness room to use, but the only equipment was one elliptical, one treadmill, and one recumbent bike--no hand weights at all! I never saw a fitness room with no handweights and that's what I really wanted to use. Maybe people steal them...?

One of the nicer properties in Soldotna. We moved to this property after seeing the property we had originally reserved. I was very pleased with the upgrade and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

All went well. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. Took time to figure out the television -- no instructions in room. Internet connection was easy and stable. Would stay again if I were in Soldotna.

This facility was in a great location but a basic accomodation. They have discontinued breakfast but there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There is no cups, plates or silverware. The pool was available. There was no housekeeping until you have stayed a week. Wish it was daily when we pay the same each day.

We came to Solditna to fish. This property offers fishing on the Kenai River rught out the back door. My only disappointment was that they no longer offer breakfast.

The hotel was new and well appointed. Located near the river and the boardwalk trail where the fisherman catch salmon. Great location
