The rooms were very nice. I am a Hilton Honors member, however I will be back to THIS Hilton. I will be back because of my experience with the staff. From the moment I arrived, the concierge, the desk clerk that checked me in, the gift shop attendant and especially the ladies that were responsible for making sure my room was cleaned. Additionally, there was a fire alarm, before I got there I sprained my ankle, had difficulty walking, and a staff member assisted me because I had to walk down 5 flights of stairs. But this employee helped me back in the building and made sure I was okay. There is a special place in heaven for this man.

Perfect location in easy walking distance to the White House, great restaurants, and two Metro stations - one with a direct line to Reagan International Airport. Although it is one of Washington's older hotels (it was originally the Statler Hotel and was finished during World War II), it has modern conveniences while retaining some of the interior architectural charm. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the North Gate Grill.

Wonderful location, staff and stay. Pleasantly surprised, we had a family vacation with our 11 year old son. Hotel was wonderful in amenities, location is very convenient and staff go beyond their duties to make you feel welcomed. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms are comfy and clean.
