Quaint historic hotel that was clean and comfortable. The price was quite reasonable. The bar was a nice place to spend some time outdoors

This is a wonderful old hotel with many original touches like a second floor mezzanine with couches and a piano. Although it could have benefitted with a little more ambiance in lighting and perhaps soft music. The rooms are very authentic and made me feel like I was Wyatt Earp staying over on my way to Tombstone. Also a terrific old dining room with a great dinner and breakfast. A great starting point for a walk to the endless staircases of Bisbee.

We came for Sidepony music festival as performing musicians. Copper Queen is so convenient for walking the town and enjoying multiple venues. Our room was comfortable and we love the atmosphere. I do wish for as much money as the musicians bring in to the town of Bisbee for that weekend, a musician discount would be offered as we have so many travels expenses and play the music for free. I don't know why the restaurant wasn't open on Friday evening. The restaurant could improve it's service, although the food was good.

Basic hotel, a little expensive but you are paying for the history and location. Staff was responsive to needs. Checked in and found water on bathroom floor from slow leak, they immediately switched us to another room with king bed and provided a discount on the cost. Second room was a little cold as they had not started warming it up earlier like they did with the first room. Hotel common areas also a little cold probably due to the unanticipated cold snap. Otherwise a decent stay.

I love the historic charm of the Copper Queen. It's such a beautiful property with well-preserved features. The only complaint is that the scent of the room, presumably the cleaning solutions, was incredibly overpowering. It gave us headaches. I would stay there again if I could call ahead to make sure my room didn't have that awful, strong chemical smell. The location is perfect!

Stayed NYE. Room was small and cozy. Elevator was out. If youre not used to stairs, well had no choice, bed was on 3rd floor. No conditioner for womens hair as an option, just shampoo. Walls are thin, heard people after 1230 talking screaming loudly through halls. Only 4 fireworks. Heard knocking (2 knocks) throughout the evening, but not sure if it was someone dropping things on the floor or someone trying to reach out to me LOL. sometimes it was 3 knocks or 1 knock. They were going through renovation and the original wood floors was exposed. Stayed in room 316 or was it 318. Dont recall.

Our room was not cleaned at check in with sheets and towels balled up on the bed. They moved of us to another room. The shampoo and soap dispensers were empty in the shower and those at the sink were not working. The elevator was broken and not in use.

I like old hotels but this one is way overpriced for what you get. Plus I had to listen to a 5 minute rundown of all the rules of this place, which include being responsible for damage to antique furnishings so I had to take a picture of everything in the (tiny) room and email it to the hotel so I wouldn't be charged for any damage I didn't cause. The restaurant was closed due to a gas problem, the elevator was nonfunctional, and a kid was plonking on the second story piano late in the evening. There are no employees on site from 11pm-7am which makes me wonder what would happen in case of a fire or other emergency, and just forget about getting help with something late at night. Parking rules are "park where you can, which excludes anything near the hotel". All this and a 10x10 room for over $200/night? Nah, I'll try one of the other hotels next time.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The staff, including housekeeping, restaurant and the saloon, were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was charming and the beds were comfortable! It is an old building and must be treated with care. The elevator was not working. This was a good thing because our room was right next to it and didn’t have any noise problems. The hotel had beautiful Christmas trees and decorations. The WiFi didn’t work which meant the room TV was not working. We decided that was fine because we still had cellular access on our phones and freed us up to explore the town of Bisbee. If you choose stay during Christmas remember this is a small town and most of the area shuts down. Have a plan for your meals on Christmas Eve and Day.

Proximity was great. Manager was rude and mean at check-in. Elevator was broken. Arduous stairs. Water in room either too hot or cold (no medium), and only trickled out. TV didn't work at all. Dinner was good. Breakfast was the opposite, with French toast not cooked and order not coming out together. But waitess was nice. Disappointing stay, especially for price. But location was great.

The Copper Queen is a historic property, so I didn't expect modern touches. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Very convenient to the downtown shopping area and restaurants. A little noisy, but then it was New Year's Eve. Overall, just fine.

I shouldn’t have been surprised but entering the hotel was a shock. It is after all 123 years old and it really looks like it. It has old wood floors that saw better times in the past and carpet on stairs and hallways that needed replacing long ago. The room we received was barely bigger than the queen size bed, the tv didn’t work as the hotel WiFi was down and the desk guy said there were so many rooms booked that it was overwhelmed. Very noisy. The bed was great however and the onsite restaurant was great. We won’t stay there again. Some of the other rooms might have been nice but the feel like for what we paid we were cheated.

Elevator not working; bar closed; no restaurant menu information; they lock the door at 10:00 pm due for safety- what does that tell you about the neighborhood. Did not stay - checked out - fighting for refund

We booked the most haunted room for my husbands birthday. We were so excited to stay in that room! After weeks of waiting we arrived to the hotel and were told the room wasn’t available even though they had sent us several emails confirming we would have that room. It was such a bummer.Instead they put us in the Teddy Rosevelt room. The bed skirt had a giant yellow stain on it. The light fixture had cobwebs all over it which is disappointing considering we paid extra to have a suite. Overall just a really disappointing trip

Historic hotel. Can hear noises from outside. Also people were smoking below our window and I could smell it. Yuck! A different room might have been better. Great location and easy to walk to many different places.

I don't like giving bad reviews but our stay here was pretty disappointing. Staff seemed indifferent, cleanliness was abysmal, room was tiny for what I paid for. They were also renovating on the floor we stayed on. The floor was covered in masking paper and just added to our overall discomfort. There's also only one ice machine on the ground level right next to door leading into the greasy looking kitchen. Its a restaurant style machine with a big door you open to reach your hand inside with a scoop that sits next to machine out in the open. Didn't seem very sanitary. We stayed here the weekend leading up to Halloween so, naturally there were Halloween festivities and Halloween party held in front of the hotel. That was half the reason we came that particular and all of that was fine. However, the place was trashed the next day. I used the bathroom on the ground level next to the aforementioned ice machine. There was trash all over the floor, beer bottles left on the back of the toilet, even a pair of underwear balled up in the corner. I didn't use the bathroom early in the morning before staff could attend to it. This was in the afternoon. I really wanted to like this place but it was just a huge disappointment. So much so that we left a night early.
