Title: Pleasant Stay Ruined by Poor Management and Lost Property For the most part, our stay at Hotel Landy was enjoyable. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the eighth floor was quiet, ensuring a restful stay. René was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and consistently helpful. However, several issues tarnished our experience. First, there were no Christmas activities, forcing us to go elsewhere to celebrate. Then, on 27th December, the hotel had a full water outage, leaving us unable to shower. This completely ruined our plans to return to Universal Studios, for which we’d already purchased tickets. Instead, we spent the day at the pool, but even getting towels became a struggle as our repeated requests were ignored. Thankfully, René stepped in and personally delivered them. Reception did compensate us for the inconvenience, but my request to speak with management was never followed up on. The most upsetting issue came after checkout. On 30th December, I realized at the airport that I’d left two jackets (a black puffer with a fur collar and a green-grey puffer) in our room. I contacted the hotel immediately and followed up repeatedly, but my messages were ignored. A month later, I was informed the jackets were “not found.” This lack of accountability and communication suggests they were either stolen or mishandled by staff. Despite the positives, these issues, especially the handling of my lost property, mean I would not return. Proceed with caution.

The room was spotless and well-equipped, from the cozy bed to the thoughtful little touches, it felt like I got way more than I paid for. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality stay at an unbeatable price.

This hotel is old and worn. They have tried to put lipstick on a pig, but it is still old and tired. Toilet didn't flush, A/C did not work. No towels in the room. It was a horrible experience.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend in Orlando and it was our first time at Landy and we recommend it to anyone looking for good service, a clean hotel with a modern and comfortable atmosphere, we will definitely be back.

Wish it was a little quieter

SUPER GORGEOUS HOTEL ROOM! Everything about the room was amazing and the hotel was perfect! The location was perfect close to everything.

the room i stayed in was fine, the cleaning service was supposed to be daily but they did not clean my room everyday. I had to request new bath towels because the lack of daily cleaning i ran out of supplies. I was at this hotel for a conference and the main are of the hotel was very cold. So cold in fact that the front staff had portable heaters around their desks. The room was so cold that people were wearing winter jackets and scarves during our three day event. It was very unpleasant.

The bus that shuttle that supposed to take us to Universal never showed up, so we have to rent Uber back and forth. The coffee pot in the bedroom didn’t work and we requested a changed in front desk… it was never replaced. We arrived from Universal (yesterday night, Saturday ) around 8 pm Ana’s went to the bar with my boyfriend to request a mojito. The lady behind the bar just said “ we don’t have mint” and turn around not any other help like we don’t have mojito but what about a Margarita…. But not so very disappointed. The hotel looks great, front desk is great but otherwise feels very unwelcome

Really enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant is good and tasty. A bit chilly in the reception and dining area. But overall nice. The room was big and clean. Only really disadvantage is that you are not able to open a window for some fresh air. So the room got really hot and moist. The air conditioning was not helping. So sometimes we had the door to the corridor opened, to get a bit of 'fresh air' in the room.

It was close to everything that we went to, like universal studio, international outlet, icon park and Disney

It was a quiet , neat and conveniently located hotel . The heated pool was the icing on the cake for me .
