This was a special surprise. We had never been top Green Valley and knew nothing about Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa. It is top drawer, first class, without the tension of the crowds on the Vegas strip. The hotel is a very short drive from Las Vegas airport and Las Vegas strip. We loved our stay and definitely will come again.

Employees were indifferent and lacked creating a warm environment.
Shower in my room had mold upon the inside front interior tile within.
The cost for this supposed resort was exorbitant, and as I had to pay a resort fee when most of the resort amenities were closed.
The windows facing the parking lot were broken.
It was obvious that I was just stuck in this aging facility.

The entire staff was very friendly.
Hanks servers, sommelier & GM made my husband’s birthday so awesome that we ended up losing a night in Laughlin and booking last minute at GVR. Had such a great time we lost another night in laughlin since we chose to leave a day early and book a much pricier room at GVR❤️❤️❤️

We love the size of the resort - not too big and not too small. The hotel portion was away from the gaming and very quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed the Lucky Penny for breakfast often as well as some of the other restaurants. A buffet would have been nice. It was great to have shopping and other eating choices within easy walking distance.

This is a relatively large resort compared to its sister properties. The locals here are very lucky to have an oasis like this where they can dine, gamble, or just hang out as well or even better than any other property in Vegas. But GVR has the advantage of not being crowded, unlike resorts on the Strip, which makes it a very chill and relaxing place to spend some leisure time. The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the gorgeous pool courtyard and the room itself was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. The only nitpicks we had were the worn out toilet seat that was ready to be replaced and a few spots that could've been cleaned better. But overall the room was a great value, especially for the price. The casino has a wide selection of slots and enough that you won't be surrounded by a crowd of players. The casino also does a very good job of smoke control as I didn't even notice any smoking odors as I walked around. Every worker I interacted with was very friendly and hospitable. In short, GVR made a great impression on me and I look forward to staying there again.

The key at the elevator wasn't working. Got the wrong room. Got a new room but it was for handicapped . I was too tired from driving and need to rest to complain... oh well.
