Holiday Inn Express & Suites TEXAS CITY, an IHG Hotel

Never again. My trash cans were on my “clean” bathroom sink, the shower was stained, and I had to call maintenance to get the tv operating. Nothing was worse than the lobby and dining area during breakfast. The tables were dirty and my shoes actually stuck to the floors.

Great place.

Bed box spring was broken and coffee machine in room didn’t work. Told management and they made it good.

While the staff was amazing, the condition of the property is poor. The third floor smells horribly of mold/mildew to the point that I’m concerned it may be a health hazard. There are mold spots on the ceiling and the fixtures are rusted. One of the outlets in our room had clearly been overheated/burned as well. There were also stains on some of the bedding. Overall, I wouldn’t be able to recommend this location in good faith unless a lot of work is done to remedy the problems.

Our first room was dirty and smelled heavy of mold . They did put us in another that was a little better .

The front desk staff was amazing! Breakfast was good.

The floor was slick like it was mopped with dirty water. The tub was rusting on the sides.

Smooth easy check in with friendly knowledgeable staff. Very clean!

When we got to the hotel there was a whole bunch of people in the parking lot handing out in cars blasting music and smoking weed. So much so that we smelled like it when we got in the hotel. There was roaches in the lobby and lobby bathroom. We put our things in our room and went to eat. When we got back the people that had been outside when we got there were now inside with the Hotel staff sitting and cutting up in the breakfast area with the lights off. We went to our room and went to bed and were out if the hotel by 8 the next morning. There was also an issue with my card while I was there and they charged me more than once for the room.

I reserved a King bed, and ended up with two double beds! Misleading information and I feel jipped!!!

We have stayed at this location several times because it is quiet, safe and has a good breakfast. It is a convenient location because we board a cruise ship the next day and it is close to Galveston.

Room was extremely cold and air would not cut off. The shower was floor was dirty and I had to clean it.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe

The room had a mildew smell the entire time. Ridiculous

Nice one night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and not much noise. Breakfast pretty basic but not bad.
