Very clean room, such a cozy feel to everything.

Easy check in, clean, modern and small but good otherwise

All in all I feel the hotel was prerry good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, while quite small, are very nice and comfortable. The main issue was the noise from H Street. We stayed there for 3 nights and the first evening I was woken up at 1:30am by someone screaming Mandarin into a megaphone lol. This went on for about 2 hours and then stopped. The following two nights no screaming but still a decent amount of noise. I live in NYC so the ambient noice didn't bother me much. The white noise machine next to the bed helped but if you're a light sleeper or just not used to noise at night I would suggest asking for a room not directly facing H street. The surrounding area was a little scruffy if you're not used to that but didn't feel unsafe. The Walgreens on the corner and restaurants close by were convienient. Would stay again.

It was a nice experience. Very close to the metro too. Lots of restaurants nearby.

This was great for a weekend away! It was close to the metro and there was more than enough options for dining. It was also close to different museums and shopping.

The rooms are exactly that, minimalistic, but exactly what I need for work travel. There is no fridge/microwave which is a down pit for having to eat out and not have a place for leftovers. My only negative was the cleaners cleaned my room the night before I was leaving despite the do not disturb sign. I was told they were a different contract, that they couldn't do anything, and it was probably for a wellness check. I'm sure they can see the room logs of scans, but it made no sense. Other than that overall stay was great, the bartender Sara is amazing as always and the kitchen staff are phenomenal. It's located at the entry of Chinatown but conveniently located across the metro and walking distance to many places. I recommend.

Great place to stay! The fragrance in the lobby and hallways was waaay too pungent though.

The property information could be updated with transportation routes from Union Station to the hotel itself. I would have done that instead of walking since I was under the impression it was walkable from Union Station. To make it clear, this hotel is just across metro train and bus stops. The hotel is also clean and modern. It is in Chinatown so I hoped to see a lot of Asian restaurants but that is not the case. Only a couple are near and open. As for breakfast food, the restaurant in the hotel opens at 8 am and this is late for me since I had to leave the hotel at 7 am. My pet peeve is the availability of coffee. They said there is no room for a coffeemaker in the room but a table was in the room. I've seen small coffeemakers that will fit on the table. I like my coffee when I wake up so that was a downer. To top it all, there is no coffee/tea service in the lobby, either. I expect more from a Motto by Hilton Hotel.

The staff was very welcoming, the hotel was very clean. The connivence of the locations was great.

My friend and I loved our stay here. The staff here were so incredibly nice, friendly and accommodating, and this first impression set the tone for how lovely the rest of our stay would be! The rooms were great, and the location was also really good. The only thing I could say that we perhaps did not like as much was the noise and movement of the bunk bed every time one of us moved - specifically every time the person on the top of the bunk bed moved the whole thing moved as well and made quite a bit of noise which made it difficult to sleep for the person on the bottom sometimes. However, regardless of this, the stay was still incredible and I would highly recommend this place!!

Was staying on my own for two nights in Washington and so I was nervous just in general about this as a young female. Staying here at Motto, however, relieved a lot of that nervousness. I felt so safe here and the room was so comfortable and clean, helping me feel even more at home. The staff were so incredibly lovely and accommodating and very easy to talk to. I had a great time here and would definitely recommend Motto, especially for any solo travellers.

Very good place to stay!

Check in was flawless, room was clean and comfortable. Price was right and location is ideal. The lobby bar is a great amenity. Parking is an issue and needs to be arranged in advance of arrival. Bathroom situation in the room is not ideal with the virtually "see thru" door. For 1 person, it's perfect, but for 2 people in one room it's awkward at best. Therefore, "Mostly Perfect"

Amazing hotel to stay in , staff are friendly and kind . Definitely recommend this hotel .

Excellent staff, very clean. Small but well laid out. Can be noisy on the lower floors. I would really appreciate a mini kettle or any way to get hot water for tea or coffee
