Great location! Less than 1/4 mile to three great dining options and the inn has the best breakfast place on the island! A beautiful 1/2 mile walk to the lighthouse or the harbor. Very quiet and comfortable!

The Pony Island in is as laid back and comfortable as you're going to find on the island, or at any southern beach anywhere. Highlights: super cool and spacious room layouts down near the office, grill out friendly, sparkling clean furniture and decor, had a laid back easy vibe that was conducive to meeting your fellow guests and travelers, quiet and peaceful by sundown, felt quite safe with some equipment left in our truck overnight, sweet lounge-around outside seating to hydrate in, located right next to the best breakfast rest. on the island, cool and helpful young staff (really! -rare these days), centrally located and everything seemed right around the corner so you can easily hoof it and leave your vehicle behind. The cedar trees outside our room hosted a sweet mid summer cicada symphony that added to the beach ambiance. Tire air fill is right across the street so you can refill right after the beach. If you grab a room behind the office in the U shaped section-YOU HAVE SCORED!!!
