Being in DTLA can be a little tricky but I did feel safe at this hotel and I did feel that they take security seriously which is important when you are traveling alone .
I loved the architecture of the interior and the room was very quiet .
This is a cash free property which I was not prepared for and will be next time for tips etc .
I will definitely return next time in town .

Super cool vibe. Retro architecture, modern minimalist rooms. Lots of concrete and windows, just enough of what you need. Very open loft style.

Loved the renovation to the room. It was a very unique open style setting. The toilet was in closed separately, but shower was open to the room. It had an 60s feel with modern utilities.
The hotel itself was safe and felt that way. Outside of the hotel was dirty due to homeless people. They didn’t bother anyone, just a small inconvenience. Was definitely worth what I paid.

One room, the bathroom needed to be cleaned better. The sink was terrible. The bar was never opened when we wanted to visit. Staff didnt seem to be too happy when we first arrived but it improved .

Not only was it in a BAD area, but the place itself was run down and looked BAD. The pictures of course made it look ten times better and we expected that only to be disappointed. We didn't expect to be in an extended stay, rental property where there was bums around and people coming in and out of the place smelling like marijuana. The hallway leading up to our room smelled like it literally every single time. Staying somewhere less than mediocre is one thing but feeling unsafe is a completely different story. This is my second time doing a bad review on an LA property and for the life of me, I just can’t understand why this website would take on these properties.

Did not have housekeeping clean our room during our stay, and when it was cleaned before our last night, there were no tea of coffee sachets or cups for water. Walls are thin so we were disturbed multiple times by neighboring guests and loud music from the rooftop bar above.

Moz was playing at the united theater. Which is literally right next door to the hotel. Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were a little too low for my liking. No onsite parking but plenty of parking near. We paid $45 for 24 hours. I would DEFINITELY stay here again 🤘

Stayed here for a concert at the United Theater, conveniently situated next door! Room was great and staff service excellent. Downtown LA is not the safest area, but that's to be expected. I would stay here again for a concert in the area.
