The hotel was cold including our room. There was dust on the lamps and mirrors in our room. £50 taken from my card rather than put a hold on it as i was informed. The pool was absolutely freezing and everyone was saying the same thing, i complained and nothing done. No spare pillows in he room and no suitcase rack in room Breakfast was average we didnt bother on our last day. Its not even close to being 4 star in my opinion oh and no lift to 1st floor

Pretty poor to be honest for a really good hotel and company we espected more. The dinner was lovely we had room service. But we had not much sleep there was a lot of noise in the corridor until 2am because of parties. Why we was put there near them is a joke. We have 3 kids who all needed sleep but that is what we didnt get. Not happy one bit. The breakfast was average and the staff were not helpful at all. They were just standing around chatting. We have stayed in better hotels for cheaper and much nicer. Sorry not worth the money.

Nice, modern. Some dining options closed on the nights I was there. Food, OK, but Steak, Grill and burger-heavy. App is useless in terms of reliability and information, particularly location of dining options and using cards for check-in. Bottle of water in the room a chargeable extra - in a five star hotel!!

Good enough friendly staff room was ok bed was a bit hard, Bar expensive £6.85 a pint we chose to eat and drink out? For a short break will stay again 👍

Hotel was conveniently situated from the motorway and close to amenities. Was full of screaming children and drunk adults. Witnessed a male urinating outside the front doors and in full view of the lobby. You couldn’t make it up!!! I did not feel it was worth the money paid and didn’t appreciate the constant shouting in the hallways at 1,2 and 3am!!!! Not a great stay. Disappointed. Could have saved half the money and had a better stay at the budget hotel along the M4.

As good as expected for a hotel of this class considering the hotel rate. The restaurant is very nice. Pool is indoors and with warm water.

Overall the dining experience was good but the actual hotel has issues which needs attention. I requested for a room with a bath, unfortunately there was an issue with the water pressure for the bath, after 20 minutes the bath was only 1 inch filled. Maintenance visited but wasn’t able to resolve it. I decided to have a shower, the water pressure was far worse and the temperature was too hot even at the coldest setting. This is a safety issue which I raised with the receptionist. The basic housekeeping wasn’t maintained as hair was found in the bath upon arrival and the kettle was full of limescale. The beds were far too firm so this can be an issue for those with back problems as it causes pressure and trying to sleep whilst getting comfortable is difficult. I've had to wait 20 minutes for a replacement kettle.. I just felt my stay there was a unpleasant and stressful one. Very disappointed with the level of services offered. For these issues mentioned the receptionist decided to minus the £10 for parking which I think isn't fair & reasonable. Overall very disappointed.

Very very surprised how lovely the hotel is, the reception area and bar and restaurant all kept in great condition and everything looked well cared for. Our suite room was beautiful, 2 comfortable sofas/ dining area then a large bedroom. Bathroom very clean and all modern decor.

Having to pay £10 to park the car

I came away racing at the local Magor Autograss track. Stayed for two nights, had amazing sleeps. Place was immaculate. Shower was powerful. A/C or heating in the room Really enjoyed my stay. Feeling fresh as a daisy today.

The hotel has a nice relaxed feel about it. will stay again
