We had a reservation for three nights, but our plans changed, so we wanted to modify it to two days. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t comply with our request. Expedia assured us that they had contacted the hotel and would keep our room until our arrival. They also asked us to provide a proof from the hotel indicating when we checked in so that Expedia could refund us for the unused day.
However, the front desk made a mistake by writing our check-in date incorrectly. When we informed them of this error, they refused to correct it. We requested a proof of the day we had access to our room, but they kept us waiting for an extended period. They took my email to send me later but they haven’t done it so far.
Overall, this experience was very disappointing.
