I liked the cleanliness and convenience of the location. Staff were very courteous and helpful. I didn’t like having to go down to the lobby to use the one microwave when I had a king suite with a refrigerator. Nor walking through poorly maintained parking lot that was covered in snow. The snow plow did a poor job leaving many areas unplowed making the area treacherous. Fortunately, the maintenance salted the sidewalks which was appreciated.

I stayed during a snow storm and the staff was just amazing. They had to stay of course but still were friendly and kind. My only downsides are no microwave in the room, you have to walk to the lobby. Then the shower was so slippery with no mat. I cant rate the staff high enough!

Breakfast should be complimentary

This property was clean, with comfy beds and quiet rooms. Probably a good place to stay if you have kids because they have a good indoor pool. I would definitely recommend for most kind of travelers. Staff was nice and helpful

The stay was not so good. The pool is FREEZING and the hot tub is out of order (we asked TWICE for it to be looked at before anything was done). The tub shower is super slippery and no, non-slip rugs inside. I bruised my knee getting out. The beds are hard as rocks and the pillows are flat. There is a frodge but no microwave in sight. This hotel does not offer breakfast, which seems so old school. Wouldnt stay here again.

It’s a simple solution to a stay in Lawrence.

Great place if you have kids. Pool area is set up well for several families to use at once. High ceilings in pool area so it’s not extremely loud.

We had a great time at the Double Tree Hilton! It was super close to Mass Street and Allen Fieldhouse. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel

Friendly / quick check in. Basic room. Clean but old. Convenient to Hwy 70. Pet friendly so do be surprised to hear (or being woken up by) barking dogs.

The rooms were nice and clean, the only thing was the elevator was a little rickety and scary.

Had a lovely stay at the double tree in Lawrence. Convenient location. Employees & service were great. Indoor pool was fun. Breakfast was delicious but very limited dinner selection, three choices.

We love how nice everyone was, the room was incredibly clean! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Great experience

Hotel remodel was done fairly well. As usual the electrical outlets were worn out and should have been replaced. Food was just average and breakfast not with the cost.

Clean and up to date

Very clean. Staff was professional and courteous.

We enjoyed our stay except for one thing. We had a handicapped accessible room, and the bottom of the tub was very slippery. I ended up putting a hand towel on the area where I stood to prevent a fall. I would think it would present a liability problem for the hotel. Perhaps a bath mat to put in the tub would be advisable.
