I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel in Brazil. For a hotel that considers itself a 4-star property, the conditions were completely unacceptable.
First of all, when I checked into the room, the bed sheets were torn and the towels looked dirty. Throughout my entire stay, housekeeping came regularly, but the towels still looked poorly washed and the sheets continued to be torn. The room itself was not properly clean either.
When I moved one of the chairs, I found plastic bags and trash that were probably left behind by previous guests. There was dust in multiple areas, the TV was hanging crooked on the wall, and there was even a hole in the wall.
What shocked me the most was that the soap and shampoo in the shower seemed to be diluted with water. I have never seen this even in budget hotels.
The breakfast staff were actually friendly and polite, but there was another serious issue in the breakfast area. The chef preparing omelets cooks directly under a ventilation hood that is completely covered in dust. Because of the airflow from the air conditioner and the ventilation system, I could literally see dust falling down toward the food while he was cooking. It was honestly disgusting to watch.
On top of that, the omelets were often undercooked and still raw inside. I was genuinely shocked by the lack of hygiene and quality standards throughout this hotel.
Honestly, I would not consider this hotel anywhere close to a 4-star experience. I would not even give it
