Had a bad experience here- this hotel is not able to meet the volume of clients it has in any way, the lobby fluctuates between busy and a humanitarian crisis. Chaotic. Check out all the other comments that mention this.
It is a great location, the views are incredible and a very good breakfast- rooms ok but need updating- wall sockets pushed through and lighting a bit grim. Not to mention the door key card- TOTAL disaster. My card worked less than 20% of the time, if you’re on the 14th floor and the building doesn’t have enough elevators- that’s a pain. Couple that with queues in the lobby- pain.
Real issue I had was with laundry service. Sure- boring, but a staff error- it arrived on my last day meaning I had no pants for 2 days and rather than sucking it up they deflected any responsibility. Even once cleared with the manager who accepted responsibility for putting my room number down wrong, I got made to pay while collecting my bag to go to the airport, having checked out hours earlier. This was all due to a particularly rude employee who basically took my bag hostage unless I paid.
I don’t expect to have clothes returned 3 days later on my day of departure, I might as well wash them at home. This is not a cheap hotel and that is not the type of service one would expect or how a customer should depart for the airport after staying for a week.
My overall impression was that this is a great location, but it must be a terrible place to work and needs an upgrade- also that the lady who demanded I pay for a service that wasn’t performed as described was probably in the wrong profession… I would not be leaving this review if it wasn’t for her.
