This was the hotel from hell. I appreciate the fact that it is under new management, but they should not be renting rooms that are in disgusting shape. This place really gives the Wyndham group a bad reputation. The glass in the window was broken, the TV was broken. No trash cans, filthy floor, filthy shower curtain. No Ice machine. No breakfast even though the website said there was. The pool was full of green water. To make matters worse, there was a woman screaming and cussing about who knows what. This went on for 20 minutes. I was ready to call the cops, but someone beat me to it. The cops showed up and were banging on the door next to my room. OPEN THE DOOR, TALLAHASSEE POLICE. Finally she did and they talked to her for a while. Then they left and she was quiet until 2 in the morning. The saga continues. Note: If Wyndham management is reading this, I kindly request that they reimburse me and my wife for the breakfast we had to buy, $14.30. Better yet, refund my room rent!! Will I get a response??

I booked a 3 day stay at this hotel. Wasn't quite what I expected, but I was told new management is trying their best to fix the place up. I understand that any visitor that stays here is a blessing to the hotel overall and assists in remodeling. The service wasn't bad, nor great as staff was very limited. Overall, if you need a place to just lay your head for a few hours, this place isn't bad for the price. Just remain vigilant. Hopefully it's not a family living there just trying to survive, then it all would make sense. Regardless. Keep improving.

*BUYER BEWARE* Follow up to my previous post, I never received a refund for the money paid for a smoke free room with a working shower. The Howard Johnson denied my request for refund and stuck me for $235 dollars for a two night stay of which i stayed neither night. Upon check in I entered the room and was there no more than 10mins, i immediately addressed my stated concerns and was offered no options (another room, or refund.. I was told there was no other rooms available) *BUYER BEWARE* I recently made reservations 8/2/24 - 8/4/24) at this location through Priceline. I showed up to the property with one person telling me he didn't think they had any rooms, and the person who ended up being the attendant that evening coming from somewhere behind the building into the lobby to check me in. Upon being checked in and finding room 214, I approached an already open room. Upon inspection, the AC did not work, TV did not work, the shower handle fell off Upon trying to turn water on, and cigarette burns were clearly visible on the bedding. I reported such to the "attendant" working that evening and being that there were no other rooms I was told I had to take the matter up with Priceline as they do not deal with 3rd party billing. I did just that immediately, yet Priceline attempted to reach the property via phone, and no one answered. I repeated my quest for resolution for 5 days, calling Priceline everyday, who subsequently attempted reaching the property each time (in normal business hours, mind you), never receiving an answer. In short I had to sleep in my car for two nights and I was charged $235 without any sort of compensation or refund for two nights of which I did not stay, nor was I provided any reasonable accommodations (like shower, running water, and AC). I am currently exploring my options in legal proceedings regarding this matter. I was fraudulent charges and provided nothing at all for those charges. Shame on this property and shame on Priceline for no basis of standards or compliance in matters advertised on their platform.

This is a motel that you get what you paid for. I booked on priceline and chose the cheapest price to save some money, I should have paid a few more bucks per night and stayed somewhere else. The staff was friendly and quick to check me in. My room was as basic as it could get. The TV wouldn't turn on, one of the lights wouldn't turn on, the toilet seat was not fully attached to the toilet, the main outlet in the room didn't work, there was no hot water, and there wasn't any soap, shampoo, or any other amenities, I had to ask for a towel after I booked into the room.

The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The housekeepers did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless, and the valet service was prompt and efficient. We loved our stay so much that we will definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip to Tallahassee!
