I found it difficult to find as it was behind other buildings in the street and poor signage - there is not any reception area for help. Quite small cottage but well equipped for stay with adequate off street parking.

Book a room for 4 adults knowing 2 people would sleep on a sofa bed The quality of the mattes was appalling to think 2 adults could sleep comfortably Possible ok for children The main bed was great

Excellent, comfy room for two with all the history and mod cons! With added benefit of a microwave and some kitchen utensils

Beautiful old historic property with 4 joined areas including 2 small studio rooms as well as our 2 bedroom cottage . The place is currently for sale and there is a lot of maintenance and repair work to be done. The chimney in the front room has been blocked off with ply which blows in and out in the wind and rain making for a bit of a noisy night. It was however warm and well appointed. Nice town.

Cosy and comfortable. Excellent hot shower, comfortable bed. Small but would stay again

Heater was insufficient, thank goodness for the electric blanket

Bed was so comfortable and liked the way it was close and within walking distance to everything.

Lovely cosy room was all we needed. Great to stay in an old ex convict place. Check in was via a code to my phone text which worked fine. Had a good look around Oatlands, enjoying all the history of the place.

Enjoyed our stay . Door and kitchen tap do need attention but didn’t affect our stay. Nice and clean and had everything you needed

The cottage was nice, good heater which was needed. Oatlands itself, no food available week nights 3pm until 10am other than IGA. Not a lot to do/see for more than 1 day.

Just loved the old building history and surrounding buildings so interesting.

Spacious with attention to detail.

Property was really good but we found there was only the RSL open for a meal at night, dining venues in Oatlands are few.
