I would not recommend staying here. The reviews were pretty good and based on that we booked it but we were really disappointed. We can totally imagine that this once was a great property however everything is old and outdated. Paint coming of the walls and the rooms smell terrible (mould). We checked out early.

This family-oriented resort has a water park. However, all the facilities are outdated and need more maintenance. The underground parking is not easy to park due to the outdated design.

The YoHo beach resort is a welcoming and relaxing resort. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is quiet and remote. We arrived as Typhoon Krathon was finishing. Some nearby cafes and stores were closed. Gradually we discovered some nearby treasures. However, the location is far away from sandy beaches and Kenting town. The resort provides shuttle service only in the evenings, as far as we can tell. Having a means of personal transport is necessary. Also, the beds are quite hard and the breakfast has limited Western options. These would be nice upgrades/improvements in the future.

We stayed at Yoho for 5 nights as our family holiday. You can tell it is an old resort, but it is very clean and well maintained. The room was fine. The pools are nice. Breakfast was good and it was nice that the breakfast was served until 12pm. The beach/rock pool area is amazing! we saw lots of creature there. However, dining is very inconvenient at the hotel and quite expensive. There was only one restaurant serving dinner and only one option - hot pot. it was nice but we can't have hot pot for 5 nights! We didn't drive so it wasn't easy for us to get to Kenting night market with young children. Overall, I would recommend the resort as it is nice and relaxing there. However, the dining really put me off to stay there again.

Service is sucks. All waiters, waitress, pool lifeguard have attitude. The equipment is old, the pool is dirty, not maintain well , have all kind of died bugs, rusty ground.

The hotel is extremely old. Fixtures and facilities are broken and old. Absolutely doesn't worth the price. No seaview room provided on the day of my arrival and we were accomodated at the oldest and worst block. I am sure for no return!

More suitable for family with kids. Staffs were so so. Some friendly and some cold. Being a resort can’t really compare with hotels in terms of cleanliness. It was clean enough but not very clean. If you want peace and quiet, this is definitely not the place. Too many kids running around. Chinese guest as usual are a nuisance. I wouldn’t stay there again

Location is pretty far from Kenting downtown area. Be aware, hotel will charge kids who over 115cm for bedding. For breakfast, kids over 85cm, hotel restaurant will charge again. Very lousy service and condition. Not recommend at all.

This is a beach resort without a beach. I generally would recommend to avoid this resort if you are looking for a walk out your door and into the water location. The waterfront near the resort is primarily a coral pool with little sand or water access. The ideal family age for this resort would be around 4-14. The lazy breakfast (open until 2pm) was mainly lazy for the chefs. The food was cold or soggy with limited selection for a resort. (Especially don’t expect much western food.) The resort is close to White Sands Beach and other attractions on the western peninsula but quite a drive from Kenting if you want to spend time there. The most disturbing part of our visit was the middle aged staff man taking pictures of our girls while we weren’t looking. Our girls told us later. Perverted! Watch out for your kids. Overall, I’d recommend another place.

We went in February, four adults and two young children, 1.5 years old and a 3.5 years old. Our two rooms were located in the themed Childrens hotel. The rooms and facilities were not new, some looked a bit worn, but everything was clean and we specially loved the design and decoration well thought for children, such as children’s toilet seat, safer bed, and provided children’s slippers, children’s dressing gown, and children’s toothbrush &paste set, and more. We attended the YoHo party started at 8:50pm after the hotel’s very good buffet dinner, we all enjoyed the show. The breakfast had a wide range of selection, including Western type of breakfast as well, and the best thing was that the breakfast served from 7am until 2pm, no need to rush in the morning. The kids’ splash pool was great fun, although the water was a bit cold (well~it’s winter). The private beach was clean, however it’s best to wear the wet shoes/beach shoes. Overall, we all had a fabulous and relaxing time staying at YoHo beach resort. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer. It’s sad we had to leave. If we return to Kenting, we will definitely consider staying at YoHo resort again.
