I really enjoyed my stay. It was comfortable, clean and it had beautiful facilities. The host was nice too.

Lovely accomodation, really smart location near 2 stations. Owners really friendly, perfect for what we needed which was a place to stay near Ally Pally for a concert. Highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.

I really wnjpyed the friendly host family, made the trip even better and much more of an immersive feel. Wonderful people, wonderful room, and the backyard was a fantastic relaxation point following all day trips

The owners are welcoming, friendly and good people. The only reason for writing a slightly negative review is because I feel that the way the "hotel" is marketed on Expedia is misleading to people like me who stay in a lot of hotels. This is not a hotel - it's someone's house where the rooms are let out. It's not clear, but you share the household bathroom - although it is a really nice one. You can't lock your room or make tea there. (You can help yourself in the kitchen.) The pictures of the rooms look very nice - but I wouldn't know because I had the box room next to the bathroom. Very small and cramped and not what I expected at all. It also needed thicker curtains as the sunlight woke me up from 5 am, although the bed was comfy. Also no breakfast is on offer at all nowadays. If you want a basic room in a friendly atmosphere at a decent price, then you can't go wrong. As I said, this review isn't designed to put people off - just add a little reality for those who were hoping for a normal hotel experience and didn't realise they wouldn't get that. I'd stay again, I just think it needs marketing correctly.

Great location! Plenty of free parking on the road. Just missing a kettle in the room but on arrival we had coffee made for us, which was lovely!

We arrived at 2pm to be greeted by the owner and taken to our room which was spacious and very clean. We were then offered a cup of tea which we politely declined as we were in a rush to get to central London in time for a get together. First impression really nice place. Then it became a bit strange. My husband went downstairs to collect a front door key only go find the owner with two other ladies sunbathing in swimwear/underwear in the garden. The owner asked one of the ladies to get us a key and she had to ask which one? I was then assured that all the keys were the se for the front door only. No way of locking our bedroom door from the outside. We then went to leave and as we went through the front door my husband was asked to move the car from the drive as this was where her brother parked his van. I then had a quick conversation with the owner and said that we would be back later so probably wouldn't see her later. We arrived back around midnight and no one was up as we expected It was then we discovered that there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which we were expecting from the advert and the bottle of water on the bedside tables was not in a sealed container. We did not drink it. The bed was really soft and uncomfortable for us both. It was 2 soft single mattresses with a memory foam topper again not what we expected from the description. The pillow on the other hand was rock hard. Next day no one around at 9am.We left.
