Akrotiri Archaeological Site

Journey to the ancient Minoan city of Akrotiri on the island of Santorini. Dubbed as Greece's own Pompeii, this ancient city dates back to the 5th century BC. After a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, it was buried in ash, preserving much of its frescoes and artwork.
