St Francis Winery

A very nice, comfortable room with spa. Meals were delicious. Room service option could be advertised in room with a menu. There was no information about this and also never saw the pool that was mentioned at check in. It would be good when booking to be notified re climbing stairs with baggage. Not everyone can do this. Also I didn't realise when booking that the breakfast is only served on weekends so that was a tad inconvenient having to organise another option on a work day.

The staff at the reception was rude, misbehaving and racist. it felt like we were staying at a prison rather than a holiday park.

Beautiful location with alot of greenery, certainly could do with a tidy up, it'd be a beautiful place to have a wedding...maybe a visit from Gordon is required!!😅😅 Aside from this we had a lovely stay, it was quiet, it felt safe, the spa was nice (1 of the jets wasnt working properly which did my head in a bit lol) oh and dont lean against the suction as i learnt the hard way while reading the warning sign and then yelling to turn it off! 😀 I cant comment on the food as we ate across the road for my friends birthday dinner however i can say the kitchen amenities were adequate. Foxtel in bed was relaxing and the option of room service was nice aswell. We've already agreed we'd like to come back again....its good value for money aswell!

The manager.was very rude. The night staff was really rude. We were harassed at midnight, at car park by the manager. Ppl smoking at family area. Very rude staff over all. It seems like they dont know how to behave in a multicultural environment. I complained at the reception but not sure if the complaint will be registered. Expedia miss guided us. Also Expedia is not reliable servise.

Not sure what they can do about it but noisy water pipes from the folks upstairs. Could also hear them talking a bit, at night. My daughters said the sofa bed was terrible. One of the worst they’ve ever used. Very springy. However, small kitchenette had plates, bowls and cutlery, which was very convenient for making breakfast. Little oven and stovetop there but we didn’t use. Car park was a bit of a pain as you can’t park near your room.

Heated pool is lovely, convenient location, supermarket, restaurants & bottle-o all within walking distance. We were greeted at our door by a lovely staff member who asked if we needed anything (more towels etc) Rooms are ok for what you pay. We had an issue with the toilet leaking, maintenance man was very friendly & efficient. Room wasn’t cleaned one day (unsure if it was because of the public holiday) spoke to reception wasn’t given a reason for room being missed, we asked for some fresh towel(s) and toilet paper. We received 1 towel for a family of 4.

Good overall

Stay somewhere else. It's more like a motel. Booked two rooms for two nights. Both the rooms nothing like the photo in the information booklet found in the room. Both the rooms used stool as bedside table bought from IKEA. Rooms in need of redo desperately! A disclaimer clause found in the information booklet- Housekeeping is done every second day.

Good location for our family. Family rooms are up a lot of stairs. Lots of smokers.

Really friendly staff. Quiet comfortable room. The only negative was the shower. Very touchy tap, a slight turn of the tap and it's too cold or burning hot.

The rooms badly need a make over. Property is good and well maintained. Staff are great. Rooms are sub standard

Absolutely horrible from wo to go, difficulty locating property, on a narrow back street, car park is not really nearby the motel rooms, not a good vibe, actually felt unsafe, adjoining motel reception is a busy pokies establishment (which I didn’t expect) and pokies room was only a very short distance from my allocated motel room. I was already feeling vulnerable when I arrived in reception and a guest was complaining about her room not being serviced, I really wanted to leave as I noted limited mobile phone coverage, not good when you don’t feel safe (one staff member said mobile coverage can be patchy and the other denied any issues). staff were initially friendly and helpful, so I progressed with my booking however I went into my room, very old and dated, light fitting falling off wall, curtains falling off rod but the fact that I could not secure my room internally was deciding factor - I wasn’t staying. The door lock for room was original and didn’t feel secure at all for a female travelling alone - there was no chain or extra snib- receptionist tried to tell me you can’t have those things on doors because fire safety - and yet nearly every modern hotel has capacity to lock the exterior door internally, I returned to reception and requested a refund because room didn’t meet standards, NO REFUND & she said I would be blacklisted, never been blacklisted in my life! wotif tried to negotiate for me, no refund but supported me with a small good will voucher for alt accom.

everything very good. i been 3 times amd will stay there whenever I go to Adelaide.

A bit tired, but all in all good value for money. Would stay there again.
