We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is well located and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality.
The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use.
Only one incident marred our stay, we foolishly left some cash out and found it missing after breakfast. The cleaner apparently thought it "was a tip"; when informed the hotel management had it returned immediately with a huge apology.
We would be happy to stay there again.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Our check-in experience was exceptional with helpful directions and assistance with getting my wife's luggage to the room. At breakfast the staff were extremely attentive and the buffet was great. Room was quite spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Central location in Altstadt Salzburg but remaining amazingly quiet. Easy walking distance of main sites near Mirabell Palace but would need to cross the river for other sites of interest.
The restaurants that are close are very good for both atmosphere and food.
The facilities are good but limited.
Staff friendly and helpful.
The room was large and adequate for tourists needs.
The drink making facilities, although there were limited and very few drinks were replaced without requesting.
Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Our room was across the road from the main hotel on the top floor, the family room was huge, 2 bathrooms, really nice. The gym and pool are also very good. The area is good to start a walk down the slight hill towards the river. Lots of shops and places to eat. Good cafes for coffee and of course apple strudel. The castle above Salzburg is worth a visit with a great view of the snowy mountains. The Christmas market was very nice with plenty of stalls.

Friendly and helpful staff. The spa areas looked very beautiful.
Room was very clean but warm for my taste. I did turn the heat off, but it was still hot enough that I had to open the window.
The bathroom sink automatic on and off water feed took a little getting used to. I managed with a bit of practice.
I particularly like the location, not on a heavy travel street & it was quiet. Yet you could walk around the corner and be in the thick of things. Walking to the center of old town was not far. Salzburg is a lovely town.

My husband and I along with our 2 teenagers stayed here for two nights. The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with great proximity to the Christmas Market and other places. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff, especially restaurant staff was good, bathroom amenities were not that great. Soap/Shampoo dispenser was empty. Bathtub should have been cleaned better.
They need better mattress and more pillows (not just 1) that are better and not skinny. Overall the stay was good.

Very kind reception and service. Convenient location, close to shops and restaurants, and yet still walkable to the train station. Breakfast was delightful. Enjoyed the pool, steam room and sauna after long days of walking. Hotel provided slippers and robes, and it was easy to slip into the elevator and go straight down to the spa area without feeling self conscious.

Great: breakfast, staff, location, room was big.
Not great: a/c seemed to be set so it couldn't go lower than 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bad: the bathtub/shower is a 3' high step up with no safety rails. The tub is very slippery. It's an accident waiting to happen. Additionally, bathroom is dated and need a remodel
