The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel has a cool ambience and the on-site restaurant is fantastic. In terms of the rooms, the bed and pillows are among the most comfortable I've ever experienced. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all!

Loved the art deco interior!
Very friendly staff - always greeted by desk when
we went through the lobby.
Very quiet - we previously stayed at adjacent hotels
(Village Park and Holiday Inn) and while they've
damped noise and vibration from the adjacent LRT
track, you've eliminated it - well done!
Will definitely stay there again.

Aloft Calgary University is a great spot close to the C train and relatively close major areas throughout Calgary ie downtown. The staff are warm and inviting while the hotel has all the amenities you could want including recreational activity. Just don’t get a room on the C train side! Loved my stay and will be back!

Breakfast and staff were good, rooms were okay, but shower curtains in place of glass door causing water to get everywhere. Loud parking lot beside rooms, buses and vehicles backing up and loading all night

Hotels.com charged us for parking even though parking was Free. Do not fall for this scam.
Hotel was decent. We had a comfortable stay. The microwave not being in the room but in the hallway was annoying since it had us awake at 4am with someone being loud using it. Otherwise good stay and great breakfast.

Stayed for a recent Symposium. The 2 quuen bed rooms were spacious amd not cramped. The bathroom however is not an ideal set up for tall or broad people. Overall the room is older and hasnt been updated since I stayed in 2016. There are obvious maintenance oversights. If you are afraid of elevators you may stuggle. The main one from the lobby to parkade is not for the faint of heart. Location allows for easy access to resturants and attractions.

We came for a track meet at the University of Carlgary, it was about a 5 min walk which was so convenient. The hotel is great, great hot breakfast and coffee and ice water offered all day. I will be back again next year for the same track meet and will definitely stay here again!
