Our car stolen in Hilton garden inn Montreal car parking and they’re not responsible, we park car in paid car parking area.

I experienced two unauthorized charges on my credit card without any explanation. Upon receiving the alert from my bank, I contacted my credit card company, who assured me that the first transaction had been approved using my PIN. However, the young lady informed me that it had not gone through and requested to see my card. She proceeded to tap my card again without my consent, as the credit card company indicated. When I returned to the desk, the same young made a dismissive comment about switching terminals due to an issue, as if I was supposed to be aware of it. It seemed she took offence to my inquiry about the infringement of an additional transaction. I wonder how she would feel if someone swiped her credit card twice without permission or an explanation. The young lady then assured me it would only be processed once during the nightly reconciliation. Additionally, we were quoted a rate of $25 per night for parking while on vacation, but upon arrival, we were informed that the price had increased to $30 per night. While I appreciate that they honoured the original quote, it was frustrating to find that we were charged for parking on the night of our stay, especially when there is no optional parking in the area. It’s hard to believe. Moreover, I was never asked for my Hilton Hotels Points card. As such, I will certainly consider other options before returning to a Hilton Garden Hotel in the future. I do intend to take it up with the company upon our return.

Out of this world

We Had a Great Stay at the Hilton. Very Clean, Good Food, Pool Was Awesome and for us was very close to the Airport. Louie the bar tender was very nice, and was the counter personal also..5 Stars. Would recommend

Property is in nice shape inside and out. Staff were very professional. Everything I would wish for in a hotel!

I was double billed for the room, even though I was told it was a deposit on the room and would not be charged for the room again. We made a reservation to have the shuttle pick us up at 3:15 am. When we got to the front desk we were told we would have to wait until 3:45 am because it was 3:17 am and we were two minutes late. We had to make it clear to the front desk that we would miss our flight if we did not get picked up immediately by the hotel shuttle. The shuttle itself was empty and no one was waiting for it either once we got to the airport.

The property charges a $25/night parking fee. This was not openly disclosed in either Expedia or the hotel site.

Good hotel

The property was clean. There was no water in the room. The breakfast was not delicious. Staff were friendly though. There is no free parking, they asked 25$ for overnight parking.

Nice personnel

Specifically picked a room with 3 beds, and the third bed was not good enough to sleep on, very old mattress, no bedding. Stayed 3 nights and room was not serviced between day 1 and 2, no clean towels, no coffee pods. Room was very expensive for what we received. Front desk staff not very knowledgeable or friendly. Very disappointed as have stayed at other Hilton Garden Inn with great service.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Montreal whether it be by car or air. We found the room comfortable. The staff were very helpful in finding information about the event, President's Cup, that we were in town for. We had breakfast there as well and the food was very good and the portion size was suitable. Our server was friendly and looked after us as well as a number of other tables in a prompt manner. The staff were fabulous and the hotel room was clean and had all the amenities we required.

The staff was very workable when we needed to extend our stay by two days because of an onset of severe vertigo.

Cons: For the price of 2 rooms a night it was extremely underwhelming. You have to pay for movies on the tv and the view outside the window was you see homeless people or a highway. The hotel building needs renovation Pros The restaurant service was very good. I did enjoy the clean rooms and very helpful staff.

Very good stay

The hotel was ok. Expensive for what it is. When we turned up, the first room we were put in smelt very strongly of cigarettes. The window was wide open and the air conditioning was blasting. We asked to move to another room and they obliged but the door kept sticking so we had to use body weight to close it. I left an item of clothing there. I called within an hour or so to let them know. They said they would call back to confirm that they'd got it. I didn't hear back so called the next day to confirm they had it as we were travelling back thay way a few days later and I could collect it. We called a couple of times and when i finally spoke to housekeeping they claimed they had not found anything. I know it was there so someone had obviously taken it. They werent willing to look into it. Although it wasnt an expensive item, it's frustrating to know it was stolen. I wouldnt recommend staying there for that reason alone. If it was something valuable that you had left, you would likely not see it again

Room was well kept and clean. Service was very good. Bathroom were excellent. Its right on highway but the surrounding area is dull and boring. But access to Montreal Tourist Area is quick.
