We reserved a corner suite, so there was no upgrade possible. The room, staff and locations were the best possible. You could walk anywhere in the old city and you were just outside the wall, making it easy for an Uber ride.

Le Capitole Hotel stay was in mid-January 2025. The hotel was very clean in both our rooms and in the common area. The staff endeavored to assure we had whatever we needed. We ate at Il Teatro (Italian) and the food was very good. We opted for the breakfast ($C20 per person). The breakfast is from the regular menu. Note that upon check-out, the occupancy tax was applied to the charges for breakfast. Overall a very good property.

Nous avons séjourné un week-end à l’hôtel dans une chambre de luxe. Elle était très spacieuse et lumineuse grâce aux nombreuses fenêtres. En prime, une magnifique vue sur le vieux Québec et les fortifications. Le bar de l’hôtel est chaleureux et le service impeccable. Le seul point négatif était le confort moyen du lit King ainsi que des oreillers, mais rendu là, c’est une question de goût personnel.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, demonstrating their attention to details. The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a simple King room that was clean and generally very comfortable. The Hotel itself pleasant if fairly unsurprising. It has a nice quiet bar with a fireplace that we thoroughly enjoyed It's well located and makes exploring Quebec City easy. We even had an ice skating rink & a small fair next door! My one quip is that the gym was poorly attended - no towels or cups for water. At least the equipment was in good shape. The service at Il Teatro was OK. I didn't have a chance to visit the indoor pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great location, very nice hotel, room was excellent as were the staff. Only let down was the room service meal from the Italian restaurant on the first night. Cannelloni was like a frozen meal heated in a microwave, pasta was tough & filling dry.

My husband and two children stayed here right after Christmas and absolutely loved it. The location was great- right by an ice skating rink and at the entrance to a street of cute shops. We were able to walk to several restaurants for meals. The room itself was very elegant and comfortable- loved the heated bathroom floor and all 4 of us fit relatively comfortably which is not always the case. My husband and I had cocktails at the bar and loved the ambiance. Both the interior and exterior of the hotel were decorated for the holidays and every staff member was friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you very much.
