The check in was great as we arrived a bit early and our room was easy to access with our luggage! Very clean and the staff was wonderful! We were referred to a restaurant in walking distance and it did not disappoint!
The included breakfast next door was awesome!

The property was poorly kept, very old and not updated, this included the grounds. The TV didn't work and they did offer to change rooms for us, but had already unpacked everything and needed to leave for an appointment, so declined. When we go back to the room for the evening notice a horrible smell like mildew and chemicals, slept with the sheet over my nose. Tiles in the bathroom were falling off the wall under the bathroom counter, many other small things. Guess we will be more careful and read all reviews.

Il est très rare que je laisse un commentaire mais ceci a pour intention de vous prevenir de la situation et diminuer vos attentes. Cette hôtel a besoin grandement de rafraîchissement. Tapisserie douteuse et il semble y avoir eu une infiltration d'eau, rideaux des annees 2000, douche désuète et je croyais que j'allais l'arracher du mur dès que je touchais au robinet..... Je suis constamment dans les hôtels pour le travail et celui-ci est de loin le pire que jai eu d'autant plus a 260$tx un samedi soir???
Le restaurant étant en renovation offre alors un minuscule mini-buffet dans une pièce qui semble un garde-robe et tres peu invitant. L'odeur de parfum en entrant est si désagréable qu'il semble masquer autre chose. Bon service a la clientèle!

after a flood, the hotel has mold in a lot of room. They rent those rooms like it was ok and not dangerous. The clerk who rent me the room knew that there was mushroms and mold because he has to give another room to the client just before me because of mold. They have no respect for customer's health. Will never rent with Expedia unless they proove me that thew hotel is safe

Room was fairly clean but looks like they don’t sweep under the dust ruffle of the bed. Old Q tips and small stuff. The worst was the hallway. It was never vacuumed. Outside if every room door it looked like they just swept the detritus from the room into the hall. Pretty gross.

We stayed here because we travel with our dog.
So we don’t expect a fancy experience!
Very friendly. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast voucher for neighboring restaurant. Near a nice walking path on the river, which we loved.
But the floor was very dirty and the curtains were beginning to fall down.
For a night en route, it was fine, reasonable price, and we’ll probably stay on our way to Quebec City every summer.

We arrived at the property around 830 pm and our room was not ready. The person checking us in was very kind but we were confused as to how our room was not ready. They estimated it would be a. 30 min wait.
We waited and then we were told they would make sure it was clean.
Unpon arriving to our room it was insanely hot and there was hair scattered all around the bathroom. We requested a fan however they do not carry fans and the concierge said they had been working on the unit and suggested we wait an hour or so to see if it cools off and there were no other rooms available. Luckily we were able to open the window which provided some relief from the sauna like condition of the room. The ac unit made a terrible racking sound all night and never cooled the room.
Because we had booked the room through Expedia there was nothing the hotel could do to adjust the compensation either.

This was our 2nd time here over a 2 week period. We arrived at 3:00 pm but since check-in was 4:00 pm, they had no confirmation that our room was ready. We decided to unload our travel stuff on the cart. There is no friendly way to get a luggage cart in and out of this hotel. When we did bring in the cart, we were told our room was ready. The room was nice and spacious, but no arm chairs to relax in.

Arrived early and the front desk lady was not accommodating. The arrival time was beyond our control. Had to sit in the car for 3 hours. I had called and requested a balcony and the person who I was talking to agreed. Upon arrival was told we could not have a balcony but rather a walk out room. Two outside garbage cans were overflowing. The door was very difficult to open and close. I have stayed there numerous time over the past 20 years. Never again
