Good hotel. Near the bund. For new year eve it was decent.

Very good service, very nice room, very nice location, right beside shanghai tower and dysney shop.

Actually it's a good hotel in a very good location, but their reception staff is worst. I reserved for additional night through their reception, they said it's confirmed & they even update my room key a day prior. Next day, I can't enter my room at night and they said I should've checked out today & even questioning where I was making reservation for extra night. When I said it ' s on their own reception staff they questioned me when & who was the staff (?) Plus giving me a different rate (higher!). Too bad for a hotel like Shangrila, the way they treat their guest doesn't show at all.

The location is perfect, close to the attractive places.

although it's quite expensive but price will not lie. Room is very cozy and its view is amazing
