From the moment I stepped out of the transport my bags were brought directly to my room. The reception staff were wonderfully kind and polite they did their best to communicate with me as I am from England and speak no Chinese. My room was immaculately clean huge bed and very stylishly decorated. I loved the privacy glass from the bathroom to the bedroom very cleaver. Again wonderful stylish bathroom. The wonderful huge selection for breakfast and they did supply me an alternative for my dietry needs. I enjoyed the pool and access to the spa I sadly didn’t have time but I’m sure it’s amazing. It was a perfect end to my world trip. Thank you and hod bless you all.

This was a great hotel for a transit through Qingdao. We had a long layover over night and just wanted a place to sleep/shower/eat. This hotel is really nice, and an especially good value. I would stay here again if I happen to pass through Qingdao

Everything was great especially the staff. I’ve been staying there for 12 years even when it was a Double Tree - always has been great.
Sadly probably my last stay there since the airport will be moving.

This was a great hotel for a transit through Qingdao. We had a long layover over night and just wanted a place to sleep/shower/eat. This hotel is really nice, and an especially good value. I would stay here again if I happen to pass through Qingdao

Absolutely loved this hotel! During my 10 day trip to China, I spent 4 nights (total) in a king suite at this wonderful property... 3 at the beginning and 1 at the end. I enjoyed the amenities and the service here much more than I did at The Westin on the Bund in Shanghai. My experience at the Wyndham was superior in every way! The staff was incredible, the breakfast was delicious, and the grounds are breathtaking. When I am in Qingdao, I wouldn’t consider staying any where else.

Dear San Franciscan,
Thos hotel is located in the outskirts of town, I arrived greeted by light snowfall, cold winter at 7.30 pm. We are to leave in the afternoon the next day and there was nothing much to see nearby once it got dark, so we decided to stay in to enjoy the hotel.
The room has received major updates so it is wonderful. Awesome water pressure! Clean facility!
We had the AYCE hot pot dinner, it was good! They only have one kind of beef sliced. A Live music band played during our dinner.
We didn’t get to try their complimentary free spa access, but if you do, try to make it before they closed.
Staff speaks sufficient English.

Terrible customer service. I simply wanted the hotel to cancel our reservation so I could rebook it on a different account, and they were completely unwilling to accommodate (called hotels.com to have them try to no avail as well). Also, the location is nowhere near the city center or any train stations so not sure why anyone would stay here in the first place.

Excellent facility a long way from the action. The Wyndham Qingdao is a very large conference/business class hotel with a lovely large garden, helpful staff, and good gym facilities. Clean large room with fridge, relatively comfortable beds (firm yes but not Chinese board style mattresses), and club level includes nightly fruit plate/other snack item. Free airport shuttle was great. Mini-Stop for snacks and Korean restaurant inside hotel, afternoon tea available in lobby bar. However, getting to the beach/aquarium/parks means either an expensive taxi each way (make sure you have the name in Chinese for the return trip) or a taxi to the Metro and back.

Excellent stay with such good rate. Comfortable beds and surprisingly complimentary hot bath, steaming room, swimming facilities. The only downside is you need a swimming cap to swim in the pool.
