Crowne Plaza CHESTER, an IHG Hotel

It was lovely and relaxing had a lovely birthday weekend.

The room was a good size. Dispensers in the bathroom were empty. Staff were friendly. Ordered a coffee from the bar but failed to be delivered so had my meeting and left. Interior is a little dated but a great location for the city centre.

Always stay here, yearly and love the hotel. It’s central to the town. Has parking and the most friendliest welcoming staff. Big shout out to Miss Tyson-Lee on reception who went above and beyond to make our stay that much better. Sorting out the car parking for us. Thank you for great customer service

Excellent staff and food

Hotel situated in great location. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Car park opposite had plenty of charge points.

No issues what so ever.. check in check out easy. Lovely staff members though out. Perfect hotel in great location. Minutes away from indoor Chester Market. We be rebooking for sure.

Super stay over New Year. Room comfortable and spacious. Great location with town centre on doorstep. Staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel parking very convenient.

Great location. Very nice hotel . We really enjoyed our stay as staying with kids the pool was great entertainment.. very nice , clean room , very friendly polite Staff .. the only down point is car park was a bit pricey £17/ night .. and as vegetarian breakfast could have more choice , but overall great hotel.

Good hotel position in relation to the city centre. Just the answer for where we needed to be. We had lost our bank cards, but with a call at reception the receptionist made a call to Chester cathedral. The cards had been found. Absolutely perfect experience…….thank you.

I stayed here for acess to the racecourse that is only a few hunderd walk from. The staff checking in were fantastic and had a very friendly personality. The lobby and bar area were all I saw during my stay and was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. They were also nice and warm that I really found comfortable. The room was great, comfortable bed, spacious and had everything I needed. I would have no problems at all staying here again.

Super base to visit Chester

fantastic friendly service. very comfortable rooms. great breakfast. hotel is 2 min walk from town centre and 15mins from Chester zoo.

For few visit now I noticed that bedlinen are scratchy and chemlical used for cleaning are rather aggressive for the skin. Was better few months back.

The staff were all very professional, polite and went above and beyond. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city centre. Only a short walk to many of the major attractions. The rooms in the hotel are large and very comfortable. There was a huge choice at breakfast and the possibility to order additional items like kippers! Only downside at the hotel is the cost of parking at £17 a night!

A wee 3 day trip to Chester for Christmas Market/shopping.Lovely hotel,food very good.Above all,staff were excellent….friendly and efficient.Only issue was Executive Lounge which was very small and freezing.Staff member could not get heating increased.So bad we couldn’t use it.Having used Exec lounges in quite a few Crowne Plaza hotels,would have to say this was the worst.Bar lounge much better and staff very helpful.

Lovely stay, hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately Check in took ages and long queues. Our room window was fastened shut and this was a problem as I like to be able to open a little for fresh air especially during the night. Felt quite claustrophobic and resorted to opening the door in the middle of the night to try and get some air to no avail.
