Lovely room, good size. Great breakfast

Honeymoon upgrade to a suite was very kind

I booked a suite for a special stay with my Mum for her birthday. When we arrived around 6pm the room looked like someone was still in it. It has obviously not been cleaned as there were wet towels in the bathroom and the bin was full of takeaway boxes. I complained at reception and they offered us a drink at the bar whilst they sorted it out. Time was going on so we decided to have something to eat in the restaurant. We had a two course dinner which was very nice which we were told was complimentary. The manager was great but it still didn’t compensate for our stay. We’d had a long day after a delayed train and 7 hours travelling so this did hinder our stay in Manchester.

Good comfortable 1-night stay. Great room location at the end of a long corridor so very quiet. Room was good, lots of towels & bottled water provided. Communal areas need to facelift & breakfast was just ok but seated quickly and staff working hard.

Great hotel, staff friendly and helpful. The location is great for central Manchester. The breakfast was worth having. I did find the bed far too soft, which i reported on leaving and to their credit they recorded it and said they would get maintenance to check. The bathroom was spotless and modern wich is nice because this can often let down other hotels.

I cancelled the reservation because I had just had chemotherapy. I asked for a confirmation of price and cancellation so I could claim on my travel insurance. I have never received anything. I doubt I will ever use Expedia again with this level of service

Great property and location for shopping and dining in the city centre

Staff were incredibly friendly and helped with anything we asked. They were great in the morning sorting out breakfast for my son who is coeliac.

Stayed overnight for a concert. Nice and central location. All clean and tidy. Club room includes the lounge which gives you snacks and drinks etc

Excellent location

Premier family room had the most comfortable beds ever! Perfect location, extremely clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. One slight negative was there was only one bar tender serving drinks which meant we queued for around 15 minutes, not ideal but we would definitely go again for sure. Parking was £18 extra but only a few minutes walk away, so overall a great stay.

We were charged twice for the Manchester tax by the hotel. But as it was only £1.20 ish we didn’t mind so much. The bed wasn’t so comfortable, a new mattress is probably needed. It was too soft for me. The deco in the corridors could do with touching up.
