Hampton by Hilton Blackburn

Very pleasant .

It was a perfect hotel for a business trip - modern, clean and comfortable and well priced. The only issue I had was my room was opposite the lift so this did affect my sleep!

Plenty of free parking, modern look, clean and presentable. Breakfast included. Down sides. I didn't ask what time breakfast ends and didn't get told, so missed one days. Room shower had no soap, bottle on the wall full of water not soap! Room on end of building dreadful humming from fans and heat pumps outside. Probably should of asked to move Room's. Everyone hurds around breakfast area gathering their food, feels very bunched in while trying to collect food, bad design in my opinion.

Nice, clean and fresh hotel. Nice staff and facilities. Food offering isn't amazing to be honest but adequate for a night's stay. Recommend it.

The room was well decorated and furnished. The breakfast provision was not up to standard - food missing, crockery missing, tables not cleared. There was clearly a shortage of staff.

We needed to stay over only as had a private function in Blackburn . The check-in was very easy, short and informative . A clean relaxing room. Breakfast was okay, maybe better presentation of the hot food in particular would have been appreciated.

Stayed for 1 night. Modern hotel that was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was good, though only scrambled eggs, which appears to be the norm these days. The staff were helpful and courteous.

How can a hotel that advetises it has a restaurant do so when they never have anything available? Wednesday night they had run out of half the menu, Thursday night they could only do a pizza. What kind of hotel runs out of till roll and does nothing about it? Why can't business travellers get a VAT receipt? Where else runs out of orange juice for breakfast service on Wednesday and can't get any by Friday? Surely just run to tesco or costco. This is a very poorly managed example of an already bad brand. Rooms are ok but menus are limited even before they run out of everything. I will need to have zero other options before I use a Hampton again

Business overnight stay. Placed in room for wheelchair user - not sure why? Everything was therefore low down, sink, bed etc. No soap dispenser next to either sink. Curtain hanging off slightly, wouldn’t close. Told reception. No offer of remedy. Shower was not really very hot and only medium power. Bedside table sticky not clean. No eggs at breakfast. Plates cold. Staff fine. Hotel looks great. Staff pleasant enough. Nobody asked me how my stay was on checkout. Price reasonable but overall disappointing.

On arrival, staff were pleasant and helpful. In the corridor was dirty crockery left by previous tenants. The room was sold as two queen size when the 2nd bed was a very hard sofa bed and even with two duvets was still very uncomfortable. A old bottle of wine was found under the bed and the kick boards came off which hurt my foot. Breakfast was mediocre For the cost of the stay, this was a disappointing visit.

The reception staff were very good they attended to all our needs and were very quick to respond

Top marks for hotel and the room I was single person so having breakfast on my own table and big group sat on table next to me and kids rolling over the sofa seats round my table other than that room very nice staff really nice and accommodating would deffo come and stop again but find table away from kids

Lovely large room, felt very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great and check in/out was really easy and friendly

The room i was in was not clean and the loud noise from the ac was horrific spoke to josh a t.m who advised would do something about this

The location was lovely and quiet, room was lovely and comfortable . I was disappointed with the breakfast, not much choice of cakes/pastries and what little there was always ran out and was not topped up. They were slow in replacing cups and saucers, one morning there was no milk an no staff anywhere in sight!
