Lovely bedroom, nearly refurbished, plenty of space with a seating area. Good spa - with hot sauna and steam room - great to relax in the early evening. Easy 15-20 minute walk into town, or choice of restaurant or snacks in the bar. A really relaxed environment with friendly staff.

It was cosy and nice. Although there was no mirrors apart from the on in the kitchen. We had our christmas works party so couldnt really see our outfits properly

Staff were friendly and polite. Lots of parking. My room was clean, tidy and very big. Bottles of water were in the room. However, the experience was ruined by the heat of the room and the hotel in general. Despite turning off all radiators and opening all windows, the temperature of the room remained far too hot and was extremely uncomfortable. The heated towel rail in the bathroom couldn't be turned down or off which made it stifling, again, even with the window open. Due to this, I hardly slept and it also meant I had to plan to shower, get dressed and leave in the morning as I could not get dressed and relax in my room as I was sweating. Bearing in mind it is January! Such a disappointment. I am very unlikely to not stay there again due to this.

Overall stay was good but breakfast service let it down. We were never asked what we wanted eg tea, toast or cooked food. We had to summon a member od staff after about 25 mins. Spa was a great addition and room very comfy and spacious.

I there was a party and the music was so loud found it difficult to sleep. I told the receptionist when settling the bill. I had smoked haddock for breakfast there was a smell the fish did not taste fresh and I have had a bad stomach this afternoon.

Check-in was efficient, room clean and comfortable, although the layout of the room was very awkward. The staff were friendly however, the breakfast was terrible. Very poor quality food and the smashed avocado I was served had gone off and was fizzy. This was very disappointing.

The hotel was so quiet. I barely heard another soul whilst I was there and the staff were so friendly. I was able to have breakfast last minute without booking and could walk to town and back easily through the park.

We had a lovey stay at the Spa hotel, the room was clean, spacious and had lovely views. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed use of the pool and sauna. We appreciated the hotel upgrading our room, the bed was comfortable and huge. The Town was a nice 15/20 minute walk. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we were in the area.
