Quite surprised by the 4.4 score here. Beds were comfortable and the ladies serving breakfast kind, which turn two stars to three stars. We had a room vue port. Sounds idyllic but means it’s on a noisy busy road. Rooms are small! Freezing bathroom. Hardly any welcome and no answers to emails. Breakfast very very boring. This hotel presents itself as something special but it is pretty basic.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the room was dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation. Access to the hotel was also a significant issue. It is evident that no thought was given to disabled access, making it extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to navigate the premises. This lack of consideration is unacceptable in this day and age. Additionally, there was no air conditioning or even a fan provided in the room. When I requested a fan, the staff simply said they do not offer that service. As a result, the room was unbearably hot, making it feel like a sauna and impossible to get a good night's sleep. Overall, my stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of basic amenities, poor cleanliness, and inadequate access facilities make it not worth the money.

Our stay here was for one night to break up a journey from our place in Flaine to our home in Oxford, and what a very pleasant surprise. The room is superb, comfortable, clean, well presented and the on-suite is just perfect. I would suggest that the owners consider adding in sockets with USB ports as a great touch however (we left our adaptors in Flaine) Great check in process outside the main entrance, and the restaurant for a buffet breakfast was great. The coffee is really nice, its the little details the owners have taken care of that makes the difference, the ladies in the restaurant are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Overall, this is a very pleasant, affordable and comfortable hotel, if you find yourself in Dunkirk, this is the hotel to stay in.

Nice (but small) rooms, simple and clean. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. Fine for a stop over for a night but would not have wanted to stay for longer given no other hotel facilities - it is just the rooms. There was a terrible smell of drains in the bathroom in one room, which was unpleasant and we would have asked to change rooms if we had been staying another night. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was expensive given we had to pay full price for children (which contrasted with the hotel we stayed in the night before where children ate breakfast for free!).

What a find! If you are staying in Dunkirk, stay here. We had an absolutely gorgeous family room with every need considered. Breakfast was simply delicious! Will definitely return.
