Nice and easy to get to by walking from Lille International Station. Situated in the old town, easy to get to most sights of interest. Room a little bit tired decor wise.

So much more than we expected, a beautiful property, spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, very highly recommended.

Very comfortable hotel and great room with sofa area. Good location for exploring the centre of the city. Only issue was that Wifi did not work in our room, even when reception gave us the login for the VIP network

Fantastic hotel and our second visit in 3 months

A lovely hotel for an overnight stay at the end of our holiday before travelling back on Eurostar. Great location and good size rooms with very friendly reception staff. We found it walkable to and from Lille Europe. We didn't take the hotel breakfast, so cannot comment on food. Would recommend and like to return for a longer visit sometime.

Nice Hotel with wonderful location and staf

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from the 19th to 21st July. We had a junior suite. The positives: Centrally located and within easy walking to all the main attractions. The junior suite was spacious with two large French windows looking onto the main street. There is a pool and a spa although our visit was so was short we had time to use neither. Bathrobes were provided, which is always nice . The negatives: We checked in at around 4 pm and the small foyer was chaotic. We were not shown to our room and we had to ask directions. A €200 deposit was taken. Our room while spacious was disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable the pillows were so cheap and uncomfortable that I had to go out and buy a pillow. The charging point by the bed did not work and when I tried to plug in a charger into the two port plug, the front panel fell off the plug which was usable. The bathroom was dated with the top shower not working at all. The bath towels were very thin. The fridge in the room leaked and the carpet was wet . Due to the age of the Hotel , you could hear people walking around above you. The safe was in the wardrobe but so high that the chair was needed to access the safe. All in all, I would say, the location is great. The room size was good. However, not enough care is given to things that make a stay enjoyable or memorable. Uncomfortable beds and nasty pillows ruin any stay. Lack of repair and attention to basic details is sloppy. We did not eat here!

Hotel needs updating, shower not working correctly, toilet seat broken, over priced breakfast at €25 each.

We couldn’t access WiFi in our room, and when we asked for additional assistance we were initially given a different WiFi password, but this still didn’t help. We were offered a different room, but it wasn’t as nice. We stayed in our original room the first night as we didn’t want to miss out on seeing Lille by looking at different rooms, but the next morning we asked for a room with working wifi. The man on the front desk wasn’t friendly, and was clearly annoyed that we were causing him additional work! Eventually we agreed on a room that had working WiFi (another room we saw also wouldn’t load WiFi). The new room was ok, but the shower was old and not very powerful, and the lack of a handle on the inside of the shower door meant you couldn’t close it without slamming it - all a bit odd! The small room fridges are also on the floor, which looks strange. Just overall the hotel lacks friendly front desk staff, and it’s tired and very dark and isn’t in great decorative condition. At best I’d say it should be a 3-star hotel, sadly not 4-star. Central location is good for sight-seeing. The garage attendant was a lot more friendly and helpful than the hotel staff!

Overall I liked this hotel, the central location was excellent. However, I had booked a suite as the regular rooms were fully booked and expected it therefore to be better than average. I had room 314 which smelled horribly of drains coming from the toilet and as a result I had to change rooms after the first night which was inconvenient. My friends stayed in a regular room and theirs was lovely. The staff were very helpful regarding this and the rest of the stay was good, but it was a disappointing start to a 2 night stay. The beds are super comfortable.
