The hotel is small but wonderfully staffed with a helpful bilingual front desk with genuine smiles! The morning buffet was delicious and the variety of croissants spoiled us. We asked for 2 beds which was tight, but was able to rearrange the room to make it work. The newly renovated hotel (2yrs ago) had great bathrooms with overscaled, colored tiles - great design eye;.). All in all, a terrific choice!

Loved the hotel and staff overall. I would absolutely stay here again. Unfortunately, the elevator was broke and awaiting a part for repair so the only inconvenience was having to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs to my room on the 5th floor daily.

We got the family room which was perfect for us. We were able to keep both doors open with a door stopper that the staff provided for us. Kids in one room with bathroom and us in another room with bathroom. Both rooms were separated by a hallway. Free tea and coffee in the lobby. Great location!

We asked them to book us a taxi for the morning that we were leaving. They charged us 40 euros and told us that we wouldn't have to pay the taxi since we already paid. When we took the taxi the driver then charged us an additional 70 euros.

Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was great, best scrambled eggs I have had. Staff very helpful too. The hotel has been stylishly designed with some lovely touches and rest areas. Well located for restaurants, sundries, Metro and sights.

We loved our 2 night stay at Hotel Oratio! Such a cute hotel. Our room was pretty tiny - which we expected - but we thought they had great storage and made the most of the space! We didn’t have any problem with the room size in the end. The room and bathroom were very clean. We also loved the breakfast! On our vacation throughout parts of France we mostly ate at boulangeries for breakfast, but we have to say the breakfast at Hotel Oratio was maybe our favourite. Loved the variety. Would stay here again!

Our stay at Hôtel Oratio was wonderful. I traveled with my mother (78) who had some apprehension about walking long distances and managing too many stairs. The Hotel was perfect - elevator, comfortable beds, great amenities, 24/7 coffee and tea, lovely and helpful staff - and was ideally located good proximity to the metro, Notre Dame, the Pantheon, the Cluny, St Étienne du Mont…. Walking distance was quite manageable, and we were so pleased with the selection of restaurants in our area (L’Oie qui fume beside the Long Hop had the best charcuterie and carpaccio plates we had).
Enormous thank you to the exceptional staff - at the front desk and the cleaning staff - who made our stay memorable and so enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience. Check-in was very smooth, even though we arrived to Paris pretty late. The front desk team members were all so kind. They have you leave your keycard at the desk every time you leave for safety reasons which I appreciated. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view outside of the windows (which we were excited to discover opened) was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Staff was great and location was ideal. Room was a little small, but that seems typical with hotels in this city. It was great that they thought of providing an espresso machine and a machine to refill water bottles. They were used very often and reduced my expenditures on these items.
