We had a really good stay - very clean, nice rooms, cleaned every day. Was a little noisy outside the hotel due to street noise but apart from that, great and good breakfasts.

We were attending the area for a family wedding. The hotel was as you would expect from IBIS all round excellent.
The area is a former working town primarily in textiles and like all old textile towns is in need of investment and new industry.
History says in has strong links with the resistance movement from WWII.

The room was ok but the shower was a bit underwhelming. The a/c didn't actually cool the room, although the fan worked and the white noise that provided was useful. The most disappointing aspect of my stay was the breakfast, which is available until 10am. I arrived in the restaurant just after 9am to find only scraps of ham, no eggs and no way to make a cup of tea - who wants loose tea leaves in a cup?

Nice hotel with very friendly staff, located in a convenient location to get into the centre of Lille via the tram. Rooms are a bit on the small side and mine was a little dark, you can hear noise from the lift and corridor through the door but it was quiet otherwise. Despite this it was a comfortable stay and I slept well. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful.

The room is not sound proof in any way and as a result any outside noise is quite loud.
