La Demeure Montaigne

First time in Paris. I mentioned my husband and I were celebrating a special occasion and the room was beautifully decorated upon arrival. I cannot say enough about this hotel. Good location as we walked to most of our interests, the service, the nightly nightcap at the bar to relax before turning in for the night, and of course the aesthetically beautiful interior and exterior.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Demeure Montaigne in early December 2024 to celebrate our milestone birthdays. We were thrilled with our choice of hotel. Every member of staff, from reception, concierge, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant/bar and spa were universally friendly, helpful, excellent. The hotel, and particularly our room, was spotlessly clean; the room was cleaned daily, but an additional turn down service was made each evening. The location is excellent for the Champs Elysée and all it offers (5 minute walk), but many of the other tourist spots are within a half hour walk. And, the metro is an 8 minute walk away (Franklyn D Roosevelt) which has 2 of the main metro lines. The staff sent us cards on our birthdays and decorated the room with balloons which was a lovely gesture and we were very touched. The bar and restaurant are stylish and offer both formal dining and snacks, both of which we tried and thoroughly enjoyed. We treated ourselves to massages in the spa, and again were impressed with the service from the therapists. I think the only negative in the whole stay was when we ordered a cappuccino to drink in the lobby and it was just like hot milk. The Parisians do coffee so well, it was a bit of a shock, so perhaps worth improving. But, this was a trip to celebrate big birthdays, so I suppose we had high expectations... Demeure Montaigne exceeded them and played a huge part in us thoroughly enjoying our Parisian stay.

This is one of the best stays we have had throughout Europe . This hotel is epic and the service is exceptional
