This hotel is beautiful and romantic. Very quiet and calm. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Castle Lichtenstein. We were able to ride the bus from Reutlingen.

Food was good but no English menu. We used a translator app. Very noisy at night. Very hot in the room with no air conditioning. Ok for a one night stay only.

The hotel is in an area of natural beauty. Food is to die for and the staff superb. The walks are amazing and the ease of treks amazing. Our room was great albeit the stairs for older patrons may be a problem. That said we’d recommend the location and of course this family run hotel without question.

Our arrival, after a long drive through heavy rain, was luke-warm ..... but the receptionist was clearly busy so we made allowances. Our room was comfortable, with a balcony and a fairly non-descript bathroom. We ate dinner in the hotel, wonderful trout from the pool outside. The waitress was very jolly and we had a nice evening. Breakfast in the morning, again, was good with a wide array of choices. It was still raining when we left the next morning but never mind. Would we return? Probably, if we were passing.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. In the back of the hotel there is a beautiful garden. You can choose to walk (45 minutes) or drive (10 minutes) to the castle from the hotel. I enjoyed my time very much during the stay.

Our room was comfy for 3 and we had a view of the castle at the top of the mountain. They have a trout pisciculture and you cannot go without having one for dinner. There is good hike up to the castle and a lot of cycling. Breakfast was really good and included.
