The location of the hotel is excellent, just short walk to Mall of Berlin. The hotel is in great condition, as expected of a Ritz hotel.
Staff are all great and well trained. Highly recommended for comfort and luxury.

Booked a junior suite that indicated it slept 3. Upon inspection of the room, it was clear that there was a mistake. There was only one bed and for a junior suite, it was quite small. We contacted reception and a roll bed was set up in the corner of the room. This was okay for our needs but seems to me that if a room can be booked for three people, a single bed/bedroom is inadequate and for the price, it was a bit disappointing to say the least.

As you'd expect the Ritz was a lovely place to stay. We particularly liked the quiet rooms, the excellent bathrooms and the wonderfully comfortable beds. The food and drink is very expensive but we enjoyed the bar food in the Curtain Club on the whole.
The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful but numerous small errors occurred with food orders and the bill which we found surprising given the reputation of a hotel like this.
It's pretty easy to get around Berlin from here. It is very walkable and we used the trains/underground a lot (though it took us a while to figure them out and signage isn't always obvious). We enjoyed the Gendarmenmarkt on Bebelplatz and the Neues Museum but Spandau and its Christmas market was disappointing. And so few authentic German cafes - I thought I'd be having kaffee und kuchen all day but sadly did not.

Our experience was amazing. We had two rooms one for our teenage boys and one for us. The staff was overly accommodating as they gave us two rooms next to each other. The property is well maintained, centrally located, and within walking distance to the Brandenburg gate.

The doorman greets you saying “welcome home,” and it is so true. Warm, wonderful people; beautiful, clean rooms; cozy comfortable bed; delicious, delectable food and drink. Perfect place to visit for the Berlin Marathon or any excuse.

The property is under staffed in the evenings. We arrived after 11 pm the day we checked in as we had traveled all day from another country. There was only one person at the front desk and no door men to help with luggage. Other than that it was very good
