Hotel Accommodation Tax (HAT) regulation in Hong Kong

Starting from January 1st 2025, guests who are staying in hotels in Hong Kong are required to pay the HAT at the rate of 3% of the booked room’s price.You will be asked to pay HAT upon check-in. Guests can access their accommodation through a private entrance. A virtual front desk provides assistance to guests. Guests are required to download the property's whatsapp/wechat mobile app before check-in. This property does not provide disposable personal items, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, loofah, shaver, nail file, and shoe mitt.
