Hotel Neo Malioboro by ASTON

Very close to city center, train station, and tourist attractions.

The room were quite spacious, clean and nice-scented, even the hallways! There were 2 water dispensers available in each floors, makes it easier for us to get water since we don’t have constantly purchased water bottles from the minimarket. The swimming pools are also clean and available in 2 sizes, for adults and kids. The breakfast are also deilicious, it varies from western menus to traditional-Indonesian (Javanesse) menus! My only critiques were probably I wish there were more clothes hooks inside the swimming pool changeroom/restroom but overall, we really enjoy our 3 days 2 nights stay in here!

easy check in with pre check in before arriving at hotel...once at hotel took 5 minutes to get our room key. check out was smooth and fast. Room are spacious, comfy bed, amanities was sufficient and cozy. we stay at room 804 room not a soundproof can hear loud the train horn. there no luggage rack have to pun our luggage on the floor.pillow only provided 2 only and too soft i prefer firm pillow. tv channel need to press back button to change channel( troublesome).Toilet towel tooo small. ( maybe meant for slim people only) shower drainage clogged so the water drain slowly. when turn on shower took 20second to fill up water inside the shower room and can make the whole toilet wet. breakfast was great. alot a variety and choices from local to international food. main dishes changes every single day. only advice to make changes is to change the toaster machine. its took too long to toast bread. Had BBQ dinnner at Sky Lounge. its not worth of paying 120K. Lounge is abit warm( indoor) and outdoor( maybe can provide a cooler or fan at outdoor seating) food variety was good but taste wise is too salty. BBQ item not fresh. fish smell not fresh and not much choices. please provided ice cubes if the drinks provided is not cold. i have to ask the bar tender few times to refill my glass with ice to cool off myself from warm weather. Staff are helpful and friendly. maybe just need to improved communication skill with customer. Recommended to guess that is on price budget and dont mind of the train honking. will return back? maybe or maybe not after checking other hotel that surrounded the city if come back to Yogjakarta.
