Checked in quite late so needed to use self-checkin instructions. The instructions were clearly laid out and simple to follow. Lift to 2nd floor quite small for 2 people and back packs ... so beware you don't get stuck on the way up! Only had a brief stay as flew back home in the morning.... but what we saw the location / accommodation was great.

Helpful staff, gave us directions for late checking. Very clean. Decent breakfast. Good location.
Disturbed sleep due to thin walls, frequently waking up to ppl making noise outside the room.
Shower water was less warm in the evening though it worked fine in the morning.

I stayed 5 nights at this B&B in Catania
Pros: wonderful staff, perfect location, comfortable bed, good WIFI speed, large bathroom, good AC, lots of storage space, good breakfast, balcony.
Cons: sewage smell in bathroom, paper thin walls. I could hear every sneeze, cough and conversation from the rooms around me which impacted my enjoyment and sleep. I had to enter codes on 5 different lockboxes to access my room each and every time I came back to the property.
The room and location were good but noisy guests spoiled my relaxation and sleep on several occasions.

Lovely and reliable service, and it's right next to all the tourist spots in Catania! Definitely opt for getting a taxi to and from the hotel, as the street is very difficult to pull suitcases along.

The hotel has been recently renovated / refurbished and is clean, light and spacious.
What was most impressive abut my stay was the delightful and helpful staff.
From checking into departure every member of staff I encountered was friendly and extremely helpful.

Area around property typically dirty and congested. Not the fault of the B&B, all the big cities in Sicily seem to be very dirty with trash and dog mess, not pleasant. Staff was excellent and accomodating. Room was comfortable but flushing toilet paper is often not allowed. Old plumbing or waste management systems. Sicily just seems very "run down" and neglected. Again property itself is fine and comfortable, just use the bidet.

Bus stop to/from airport is right next to the hotel. 4 euros to/from the airport.

This is a great place to stay. We booked a family room and had a double and 2 singles. The room had an en-suite with toilet, bidet, shower and basin. There is air con and a balcony that we could see Mount Etna from. Breakfast is in the kitchen down the hallway and we could choose from croissants, bread rolls, muffins, doughnuts, yoghurt, fruit, cold meats, cheese etc. There were all manner of drinks and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was 8-10.
The reception team work 8 TIL 8 and will help with anything like booking trips and taxis and advising on places to visit. They also let us store our luggage when we checked out because we had an evening flight. This was fantastic value for money, we would definitely stay here again. We loved it.
You feel really safe. There is a big gate outside and you ring the bell when you first arrive. Then there are stairs or a lift to get up to the hotel. We can’t recommend it enough.

We were checked into an apartment with a kitchen and a spacious living room. The bedroom was also very big. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy and the location was within walking distance from the central station. The reception was very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was also very sumptuous. We liked our apartment so much we extended our stay.
