I checked in with Rika, who was great! She switched my room so that I was on the top floor. All of the staff were friendly. I like the APA hotels. I stayed at 1 in Osaka too for 2 nights. The only downside was all the dust in my room, so I had trouble breathing and was sneezing. Needs vacuuming. May have been coming from the overhead vent too. But a relaxing stay and in a good location.

Around a 10 min walk from hakata station, I found this place very easily accessible and convenient. There are convenient stores nearby as well. Stay was pretty comfortable, and it feels safe as the lifts could only be operated by the room key card. For days where you don't want room make up services, staff would hang a bag in front of your room door consisting of stuff like towels. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in fukuoka! The only things I didn't like that much were: 1) asked staff at lobby for water, but they said that they didn't have any and that there's only the ice machine. honestly I was wondering why the bottled waters are not replenished in the bag as well? Had to go and buy water. 2) every 3 days or so, the staff would make up your room. This is mandatory for hygiene reasons, which I understand, but I don't really like people entering my hotel room when I'm staying there. Do take note if you are sensitive to this as well.

Staff are not cooperative and not understandable. On breakfast voucher it’s written breakfast is opened from 6:30-10am but when i went at 9:35am it was already closed and when i asked the staff replied that last order is at 9:30am though this was not mentioned on the voucher

Very inexpensive, clean, modern business hotel near Hakata stn. Once very 3 nights cleaning unless requested. Amenity bag everyday there is no cleaning. Convenient to Fukuoka airport (2 stops). Free VOD on the days i was there maybe low season? Just only one water bottle free (the first) for 5 nights.

Tiny room. Window looked out onto internal corridor so no privacy unless curtains kept closed all the time. Weird design of the building meant that internal corridors were also exposed to the external elements and were freezing cold. Amenities (ie. Cups and drinks) we’re not generously replaced - was given one fresh cup per day.

These beds were the most comfy beds I've stayed at in Japan for the price point. My wife and I disagree on pillow preference but both agree on the beds. The only negative was they jammed 2 extra chairs and a small table in the gap under the bed semi blocking the mini fridge (which never got very cold) and made it a bit low on space once you bring in 1-2 luggages. Lack of space is very common in Japan so its hard to dock points. Everything else is A Staff, amenities, location, on site washing available.
