I used this hotel for snowboarding! It says "hotel" in the name, but the owner... The people there were very friendly and approachable, so I thought it was close to a ryokan. Breakfast and dinner included for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was spacious enough for 2 people to relax. There was a heater installed, so there was no need to worry about the cold, and I think it would warm up quickly. Although it is located less than 10 minutes by car from the ski resort, it is reasonably priced. What I liked most about this hotel was It's a place where you can get refills of rice for both breakfast and dinner! From what I heard, it seems like they are partnering with farmers. You can eat the most delicious rice! The rice was delicious, so I kept refilling it until it ran out. I let it happen! The owner's intention is to ``feed a lot of food to people who want to eat a lot.'' I'm happy with the owner's enthusiasm. I'm very grateful for this at this point in time. Eat delicious rice until you are full, Fill your empty stomach after playing with delicious rice Highly recommended for people who want to be satisfied! Thank you to everyone at Sankokaku 😊 Thank you for the meal! !

The location is perfect, being only 15 minutes by car from the trailheads of Kirigamine and Mt. Tateshina. Even on Saturdays, it costs about 9,000 yen for two people per night, which is cheap in the Shirakaba Lake area. There are no amenities and you need to bring your own towel. Hair dryers, hand soap, conditioner shampoo, and body soap are provided. The pot and microwave are in the hallway, so you have to leave the room to use them. The public bath cannot be used, and the unit bath in the room can only be used between 6pm and 9pm. It was inconvenient, but since I was mainly climbing mountains, after looking at the reviews from people around me, I found it to be surprisingly good. Wi-Fi is available but weak. There is a refrigerator, TV, and heater in the room, so you can spend a good time. I don't know if it's because there aren't many guests, but there are some places like the front desk and hallways where there aren't any lights on, so it's dark and it might be a little scary to be alone. Due to its location, it is pitch dark once the sun sets. I only had to bring my own food with me. There seem to be few restaurants around. At first, the hotel staff seemed to explain things in a matter-of-fact manner, but they turned out to be nice people who also gave us mountain information.

I used it from 12/31 to 1/1. The shabu-shabu course had all-you-can-eat meat. Although the facility is old, the food was satisfactory. For dinner, we also had New Year's soba noodles, which came with New Year's ozoni. The staff also told me about new year's events and gave me advice on where to watch the sunrise, so I really enjoyed it. I hope you will continue to do your best and continue your business.

I used it by myself on the middle day of a 3-day holiday, and it was enough for one person considering this cost performance. I prepared myself to a certain extent, but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. (That's my feeling) Although the facilities in the room showed some deterioration, there was no problem at all for a solo traveler at this cost performance. I would like to see it revived like it was when it was bustling in the Showa era.

The room key didn't lock. I couldn't use the public bath. Air conditioner is old. rotary telephone. Not suitable for allergies. The elevator that takes you three times from the first floor has not been available for several years. There is no washlet in the unit bath (the fourth floor is broken and there is only the first floor). The toilet in the large public bath is Japanese style. The lighting is dark. There were insects everywhere. The balcony of the room was not well maintained. There were flies on the front desk. In the club on the first floor (Arcadia), most of the lights were out of order and Wi-Fi was almost out of reach. I'm a fan of Showa retro, but I'd like them to renovate it.
