Easy walk to kyomizu dera. Very close to the cultural center of kyoto. Rooms are very spacious

Great place to stay close to temples and other attractions. Great projector and screen we could use in the evenings. Great little kitchenette, spacious bathroom, separate toilet, Beds were a little hard though. Close to convenience shops where you can buy snacks, drinks and even prepared meals. We walked everywhere but bus stop out front if you wanted.

Fire alarm sounded twice over my period of stay - late night and in the morning. I had to evacuate my family and we were left stranded outside in the cold. Poor communication and management by the property team. Would avoid staying here again.

The rooms are spectacular! Every amenity you might want or need in a super comfy setting. Highly recommend!

This is a great property in Kyoto. Very comfortable and well equipped. Washing machine is great. Location is good. Only negative is quite limited options for eating close by.

Resistay Gojozaka was just what I wanted. The location was great many of the attractions I wanted to see, and the facilities were just what I needed. The room has a detailed instruction book explaining how to operate everything, from the heating/cooling, TV, microwave and of course, the complicated toilet. It was especially nice to have a phone in the small "lobby" with a direct line to the MK taxi company - I used it to get a cap at 5am to the train station.

This place was amazing. It had everything you could possibly want and more. It was big, clean, modern with 2 solid bunk beds to fit 4 comfortably. Instructions for all equipment, maps of local restaurants and tourist spots. Washing machine in room. Even Netflix! Great location. Online checkin which was quick and easy. We loved it!

The property was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. It’s within 15~20 walking distance to Kyomizu temple. However, there’s no restaurant around that area.

My friends and I loved this place! It's clean and modern, and surprisingly spacious. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including tea, coffee, towels, toothbrushes, and laundry detergent pods. The staff at the reception counter is also incredibly helpful and friendly. They gave us all the information we needed about our stay. An employee even escorted us to the shuttle to our accommodation and provided us suggestions of places to check out in Kyoto. The only negatives would be that the mattresses were a bit old and thin, and there is no dryer for your clothes, only a washing machine. The heat fan in the bathroom does not dry your clothes that well. I would highly recommend Resi Stay Gojozaka.

I like the layout and the how well equipped this hotel is. I do not like that they did not allow me even a 30 minutes more time to checkout on a rainy day. “No, you have to leave at 10 we will not allow extension”. I was very disappointed as i stayed there for six nights and i cannot believe they did not give me just 30 more mins so that i can stay without rain. Anyways i checked out at 10 so i hope Resi Stay you are happy now !! By the way i must say that they provided me complimentary drop to hotel from there reception desk which was a good service, however i did not like the rude tone of the lady talking to me on the day i checked out so overall i had ok ok feeling about my stay. Property is good, beware of smoke smell on the ground floor, i was bothered by it but Resi Stay did not do anything about it..

Room very new with good facilities. Clean. Walking distance to popular tourist attractions like Kiyomizadera and other temples.

Great location, lovely, comfortable, good amount of room

I travelled with my wife and 2 adult sons. We were all very pleased with the hotel...from the reception where we were attended to immediately, and the comfortable free shuttle service, to the big, new room. We were delighted by the cleanliness and size of the room which had a separate sitting area, as well as the amenities provided. It was also just a 20-minute walk to the majestic Kiyomizu-dera, and a nice 25-minute walk by the Kamo river to the bustling Shijo-dori(or 1 train station away). We will definitely stay here again.

Apartment is beautiful and clean. Would be better with a shower curtain but we understand it is a Japanese style bathroom. The entryway has a small step and we tripped over it the first few times. But overall, a great stay - highly recommend!

Clean room and building. Good location with easy access to local transportation. Well stocked kitchen and small sitting area. Room is small but has everything one needs. Beds were okay. More firm than we are accustomed to. Reception is off site located in a little office near Kyoto station not easy to find.

I was surprised by how much space was in the hotel room for such a good price!

A lot bigger than it looked online! Japanese style bath and the beds were comfortable. It’s location right next to 清水寺 (Kiyomizu Temple) made it really convenient! In the evenings after dinner they had 5 different kinds of Netflix accounts to use for evening viewing or just regular cable! Loved it!

This is a brand new property - its basically a newly constructed, modern, 4-stored building (entire building belongs to Resi Stay) having around 15 to 20 serviced apartments - absolutely fantastic on all counts - located in a suburb which is just around 10 mins from the main Kyoto train station (so around 1100 yen by taxi).. each apartment is around 600-650 square feet - it has a small Hall area with sofa n a big wi-fi TV (so u can watch Netflix, Amazon, U-tube etc) and then theres a bedroom which has 2 large double beds (big enough for full sized 6 feet plus adults) - so 4 adults can easily sleep in a 2 + 2 combo, plus theres a small sofa single bed (in the hall area) which is good for 1 adult to sleep.. overall very modern with a small but fully equipped kitchen - bathroom with a small tub + separate shower area... it also has a balcony.. overall its a super clean and very modern apartment (brand new).. excellent heating; great wi-fi... they have provided every possible amenity that you might need.. theres also one of the biggest and grandest shrines of Kyoto (called Kiyomizu Dera temple) located within just a 10 to 15 mins walk from this serviced apartment... u can ever see it from the balcony.. the shrine is up on a hill slope so be prepared to climb up the slope... a 10 mins climb.. lots of eating places just a 5 -10 mins walk away.. theres also a 7-Eleven located just 5 mins walk from the apartment... so overall very convenient and great at this price..
